Nice apartment with all the basic equipment you need.Very steep/narrow stairs, but we knew that before we arrived, and really no problem. Were warmly greeted by the owner when we arrived. The beach is perfect, but very windy (in Oct. so remember warm clothes and boots).A backery just around the corner and super market (Hoogvliet) down the street. We were a family of four (incl. 2 kids at 3 and 6). We took daytrips to "The Dolfinarium" in Harderwijk which was worth the whole trip and "Drievliet" was fun for the kids, too. Also went to Amsterdam and parked at "Park&Ride" at Amsterdam Arena for €4 for a whole day incl. return train tickets to Amsterdam center. In Rotterdam we went for a harbor tour with Spido from Leuvehaven, which was great, too.
Even though we arrived later than expected we were still allowed into our room and didn't have to check-in until the morning. Very trusting and much appreciated. The location to was idea and the accommodation very good value.
That we were so close to the beach and centre of town.
A perfect family place - close to the beach/shops, cooking facilities and even a view of the beach.
Just minor things - narrow steep stairs, no soap.
everything was fine, good location, on beach site, plenty of restaurants around, parking nearby 4euro/day... inside room as well..good bathroom and vantilation, well equipped kitchen.... worth the price...
stairs... have to be very very careful if traveling with old person or kids... no soap and shampoo in the room...
the cooking facilities and the good location close to Keukenhoff gardens
the only disadvantage was the stairs with heavy bags
Next to the beach in a nice small town. Quite room for a nice price, comfort ok for the price and much space. Good to have a kitchen. I possibly will come back.
Beds could have been a bit more comfortable. No possibility to make the room totally dark at night, so impossible to sleep as soon as daylight is there. In the kitchen I would suggest to add a microwave oven. Stairs are quiet small.
perfect location by the sea, well equiped
very acustic, could hear normal conversations from the next room
i choose for an appartment, as one has the freedom to cook etc at ones own time....does not have someone fussy around ...is not bound to times..i had a nice room with a balony which is nice a smoker, as i dont like smoking in the room i sleep in...it also had a nice view over the rooves of the houses and the sky in full view ...lots of light.... the matras could have been a bit beter on the one bed...but it was ok for the few nights...
well ...the two flights of stairs...are very typical dutch... if i was older and not fit it might have been a problem getting up them...and that would certainly apply for the elderly...as there is no lift...or assistance on arrival ....also having to carry baggage up those stairs was a little difficult... the other thing is..if one only has two nights to have an outing ...this place only has reservations for three...that makes it difficult... i understand that cleaning and maintaining is intensive for two nights ...but...what can i say as a working person, one usally only has two night...having spoken to nicollette we understood the intensity of cleaning ect. having to leave on sunday...at 10.00 was also a bit early...if one wants to sleep in a bit on a free day...but understandable once again in the view of cleaning etc. all in all we had a wonderfull time...thanks.d
