Our toilet was not bolted down! We could smell sewer gas. Called maintenance and they sent someone down who agreed but couldn't or wouldn't fix it until next day. We could have moved but at 9:30 at night we were tired and didn't want all of the hassle. Room was a distance from the restaurant. Food was alright but breakfast was not included. The room was dreary so we felt what we paid was totally over priced. But, because they are out in the middle of nowhere, they can charge what they want.

Easy to find if driving from Monument Valley. Clean Rooms, easy check-in, good explanation of lodge, location of room, breakfast. King sized bed. No hype, simple and honest.
No coffee maker in room, but not a deal breaker. They had coffee available in the breakfast room. In any other town, with competitive offers, this hotel would be likely only be valued at about $---Reserve in advance. Kayenta has limited lodging choices. When we arrived after Sunset @ 6:30, only guests with reservations were accepted.
