We were not happy that we had to go and talk to staff and try to convince them to move us rooms. I specifically selected a non smoking room through the website and I entered into a room which was so inbearable to breathe because of the stench of cigarette
Front desk staff friendly and pool was clean. Air conditioner worked really well.
Beds were hard. Scratchy scraggly towels. Ice machine was broken.
The room has bedbugs and other problems.
There were bugs in the bed the light fixtures were dirty.
All they said they had was a smoking room. Smelly and dirty. The bathroom smelled of vomit and when you closed the door you could see the stains on the wall along with dirt. Carpet filthy. And the list goes on!
I would have to say location.
The bathtub had a permanent mat. Good I dea! But the edges looked like they had been caulked. The edges looked like there was mold in this area. I had trouble convincing myself to get in it for a shower. I would NEVER take a BATH in it!!! The mattress
There seemed to be a musty type smell to the room. I went to Walmart and purchased some air freshener and made it better. I didn't realize it was a motel (or a motor inn) I thought it was a hotel with inside corridors. There was no coffee or breakfast.
location, employee on staff for check in
Much! Ceiling light missing one light bulb. Room was dusty. Both queen beds had numerous live and dead bugs in the sheets. Could not bare to sleep in beds. Had to leave without spending night.
Recently remodeled, fairly priced.
Common spaces were small, breakfast limited
Clean, standard motel room, good location, good price, good staff. In-room fridge & microwave were useful too.
It was clean and suited to our purposes. This was an overnight stay for funeral services. It was better than we expected for the price.
People living there obviously just hang out in the parking lot
Yes, had to ask for a hair dryer and ironing board and iron. Smoking room on the second floor. Had no public spaces that I could find/ parking was the pits! No TV channel selection guide.
The price, it was cheaper than almost everything else in the area.
The rooms were very outdated and the bed/sheets/pillows looked and felt disgusting..
close to I-10, Cost, Fridge...
Mattress was on the firm side and the pillows were flat.
Clean, pleasant rooms, nice breakfast provided.
Laundry facilities could of been better but served my needs.
Good Location easy access to main road
My booking was filed for the wrong month, so they said they did not have a room for me. I asked them who to call and persisted (since there were no rooms available for 80 miles,& this was already paid for 3 months earlier)finally got a smoking room.Yuck.
The location was convenient to restaurants and easy to find.
It was somewhat far from where I wanted to be, but the drive was very nice. The hotel was easy to find, on a main road, close to many stores and restaurants,& had an adequate breakfast set up. If I ever travel to that area again, I'll stay there again!
If I'd have booked the hotel on my own w/o priceline, it would've been cheaper. I saw a billboard advertising the rooms for less than I paid. :(
helpful desk personnel, friendly
We didn't enjoy this motel very much. This is the 1st time I was not happy with priceline and the motel we got.
The staff were very friendly.
If you do not like smoking, do not stay here, even in the non-smoking rooms. Smoke smell was so strong in our non-smoking room that I had a sore throat after just a couple of hours and our clothes smelled like smoke.
This is an old motel that has seen better days. I believe we were the only people there! The price was right, but I'd rather spend a bit more for a more updated, clean room.
Stayed here in Kerrville because F'Burg was full for their Night in Old Fredericksburg. Motel is located just south of I-10 and is about 25 miles from F'burg. Have to keep your eyes peeled because the motel sign is kinda small and hard to see. Check-in was efficient and prompt. My reservation was on the books and there were no problems, Room was also efficient - maybe crowded if more than just me was staying there. A/C worked well, but some noise as is usual for those Amana motel A/Cs. I found everything clean and neat. Strangely, there was no bedside alarm clock/radio, althought the microwave did have a clock on it. Breakfast was simple - juice, coffee, cereal, waffles, toast and sweet rolls. All aspects of the motel met my expectations.
I had a great stay here! The management is very kind, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is delicious! The managers are so polite and helpful, and willing to bend over backwards to help a customer.
the rooms are very clean, the price was great and the staff were friendly and accomodating. breakfast is included, although they do provide in room coffee, micro waves and mini fridges. would definetly stay here again and would recommend this motel to others...
