Hotel Aurach

The family run Hotel Aurach offers a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and friendly service. The hotel is a great choice for an affordable ski holiday close to a vibrant resort. The Hotel Aurach lies on the edge of the village of Aurach, approximately 3 kilometres from the international Alpine resort of Kitzbühel. There is a free ski bus which operates until 7pm and stops about 300 metres from the hotel and taxis to and from Kitzbühel can be easily arranged from the hotel. Getting to the hotel: Salzburg airport is 80 km, Munich airport is 175 km, and Innsbruck airport 100 km. Local Tips: The Kitzbuhel ski area guarantees good snow cover right down to the valley all season long, with fantastic views for all winter sport enthusiasts. There are 168 km of excellent pistes from beginners snow plough slopes to mogul hills for the experts. There are cross country tracks and cleared walking paths for those who want to take things a bit easier. The infamous Streif slope is one of Kitzbuhel's main attractions. FACILITIES:The hotel looks after its skiing guests well and also has some great chill out areas for those who just want to kick back and relax. Food, drink and entertainment: A dining room, a la carte restaurant with bar, welcome drink, breakfast buffet, 3 course evening meal with choice of main course, and for local aprés ski, the '5erl', 'Pavillion', 'Londoner' and 'Klausenfalle' bars and the clubs 'Highways' or 'Jimmy's' need no further introduction. Sport, games and activities: Free use of the sauna 5 days weekly (Monday - Friday), reading and television room, and heated ski storage. There is also a solarium with a local charge.
