The location was okay.
No alarm clock in room, half the light bulbs missing or burnt out, Wi-Fi didn't work in the original room they put me in, had to move. Breakfast was coffee and locally purchased donuts (NOT Dunkin). No elevator, refrigerator not working. A real DUMP.Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It must have been nice when first opened, but it has been badly maintained, and is obviously going downhill fast.
It had gIt had great need for repair with no appearance of repairs being made.
Location and room size
Everything else. The pool have been down for years and the WiFi dose not work at all in the rooms, and it looks like the the hotel is falling apart form the inside out. This was one of the worst hotel.
The price, but you get what you pay for
The room was outdated. Full of spiders and spiderwebs. The toilet was broken in he room and in the lobby. No soap or papertowel in the lobby restroom. Pool and weight room under renovation. No maid service during our stay. Phone in our room did not work. The whole hotel needs to be updated. They need to hire a landscaping company to take care of overgrown weeds. Remove the barbeque pit from the front door. Have housekeeping to dust room between stays or least do a once over before a guest checks in to remove all the cobwebs from the walls, corners, floors, chairs ceiling, sink, countertop, tub and toilet. Make sure the toilet works!
Nothing!Checked out at midnight after I killed cockroach number 3. Next day I talked to the manager NICELY! He kept interrupting me & refused to refund the room. Employee says 'If we refunded everyone who complained then we wouldn't get paid'
Electrical burn marks going up the wall from the outlet that the ac/heating unit plugged into. The towels were basically hand towels. No pool, hasn't had water in it for about a year, tv color was going out and killed 3 cockroaches before finally leaving.I booked a room with the Garden Inn in Kokomo, IN. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The sign they have says Garden Inn, Indoor Pool Free Wifi. The air in the hotel wasn't on except for the units in the room. The unit in my room had electrical burns and smoke stains going up from the outlet on the wall. On the way to the front desk to ask where the pool was I stopped in the ice room, the wall paper was peeling so far down off the wall it was almost ...
The pictures on the internet didn't come close to describing the dispicabale conditions of this hotel. The pictures show a indoor pool and they don't have a pool anywhere on the grounds. This hotel should be closed untill it is completely remodeled.I tryed to check out but they refused to give a refund. The rooms were dirty and their buisness practice is deplorable. I wouldn't stay again if they gave the rooms for free. This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in.
They were pet friendly
The room was still dirty. Had cat hair on the floor in a ball and had crumbs on the chair at the desk in the room. On top of that there were antsDirty!
I had to date wrong on my reservation and the desk clerk was reluctant to let me have the online rate, however another staff person convinced him to honor the price. Staff was good about bringing extra pillows and blankets cheerfully.
It was extremely cold in the hotel. It was so cold in the room that I borrowed a local friend's space heater the next day. Even getting a blanket (as the beds only have a sheet and coverlet)didnt help much.At one time, this hotel was considered one of the nicest in town. It is too bad it was let to deteriorate. However, the new owner's efforts to make it a decent place are commendable. Unfortunately, the owner's frugality is too extreme. Keeping the thermostat down so low that I have to wear my coat to bed does not make a customer want to return. It is counterproductive to save money in such a way that drives off potential revenue. This hotel would be successful if the temp was kept comfortable, there were donu...
