Nothing fancy but clean room with a great bed. Would stay there again.
I have stayed here several times over the last year and depending on who runs the front desk (husband or wife) you get a different rate. The rooms are very dirty and could use a major deep clean. My advice spend your money somewhere else!!
We have stayed at this hotel at least twice a year for the last 3 or 4 years. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Improvements are slowly being made to the rooms. The bathrooms have been redone with a great shower and curved curtain. The beds are high and comfy with nice clean blankets. Breakfast includes hot oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit, breakfast bars and pastries along with hot coffee, milk and juice. Well worth the price. Location is great too!
My reservation was made for a non-smoking room and it was not available when I arrived at check-in. Due to friends also staying at the hotel, we did stay. This particular hotel was quite old and needed to be updated. Floors felt hard and uneven and bathroom was quite small. Dark rooms that needed higher wattage light in order to read. NEEDS TO BE RENOVATED!!!!!
The hotel was easy to get to from the interstate and very close to shopping and restaurants. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. We were there several days visiting friends and had no problems. We will certainly stay here whenever we are in Lawrenceville.
The room needs to be thoroughly/completely cleaned. Sheets and towels are stained. Phone, radio, lightswitches are grimey. Carpet is dirty. Walls have stains on them. The continental breakfast was cornflakes or frosted flakes. The coffee was basically brown water. This was a terrible place to stay.
Hotel A/C was very load, sheets would not stay on the bed.
i enjoyed my stay at days inn very much. the room was nice and the location was very convenience for my plans, and also the price of the room could not be beat. i would recommend it to anyone looking to stay near the atlanta area
I stayed one night and that was enought. The are was ok, but Days Inn at Lawrenceville, Ga. was terrible. First, the front desk couldn' find my reservation even with my conformation no., 2nd., I got there at 9:30 pm tired and ready to relax. Found hair on the pillows, in the blanket and on the sheets! There was a stain on the blanket, so I know it had not been washed. The bathroom, tub had a funky smell, cleaned it out, got in for a long bath, noticed yellow marks on the toilet. Got out, got a wash cloth and wiped it down omg!!!!! It was horrible, I threw the wash cloth in the trash. I got my camera out and took pictures. Upon check out I didn't eat the free breakfast, stale rolls juice was gone, it was only 8:45am! I let the girl behind the counter know that they need to hire a new cleaning crew and told what was wrong with my room. She just smiled and said 'so sorry'! I have stayed at alot of Days Inn and felt good about staying with a good name. Next time I will ask to see the rooms first, then pay for that room.
I've stayed in many Days Inns through the years that were quite decent ....The 5 photos posted as of 7/15/08 are very accurate. Good location but difficult place to enter traffic. Chose this hotel for location, breakfast and price....3 nt stay.... Lock on doors didn't work well, beds as hard as a board, carpet so old, dirty and worn as if installed in 1980's, internet wasn't working, no coffee in morning and took a long time to find employee to make more, worst continental breakfast ever..... no fruit or yogurt, only old stale individually packaged bagels and pastry and 2 kinds of stale generic cereal... had to find a restaurant to feed even a guy who'll eat almost anything.
This is a motel converted into a Days Inn hotel. The beds are terrible, dirty and rooms are smelly.
