The staff were the husband and wife and were very friendly. The husband was a gourmet chef and the food was outstanding. good selection of wines and local beers. I would stay there again.
The wrong room was allocated to what we had booked the shower was covered in mildew it was so old fashioned and in need of refurbishment wash hand bedroom was in the bedroom not in the ensuite
Too many to mention wife was extremely rude overpriced room the lounge was occupied by their child
We loved the food. Very different and cooked to perfection. The owners were very nice but sometimes a little bit overpowering.
Roger and Emma were excellent hosts, almost felt as if we were there as family guests. Room was very pleasent, with fantastic views over the local countryside. Dinner was a wonderful experience, food superbly presented tasting as good as it looked. Conversation with the hosts showed that they both really cared for their visitors, their business and local community. Rogers knowledge of the dishes he served was above reproach and his willingness to share this made for a most interesting and entertaining evening. Even breakfast felt like a special occasion, superb standards and menu again (the dried fruit in tea syrup was wonderful), all in the peaceful setting of the conservatory, again with the lovely views and early morning birdsong coming through the open doors. The hosts went beyond what would be expected of them, even down to Roger's advice on how to spend, what turned out to be, a lovely morning in the hill beyond the village. All in all, it made for a wonderful overnight stay, and a wonderful experience, exactly what we were looking for. Thank you, we will recomend you to others and will endeavour to return soon.

Friendly informative Staff
Anyone who has stayed here or visited the restaurant will know that it is renowned for it's food. We had a superb meal in their lovely dining room and at an unbelievably reasonable price for top quality cuisine. Bear in mind that evening meals should be pre-booked as everything is freshly prepared.
quiet, very nice view, lovely people, very good restaurant
the flow in shower very poor
The owners were fabulous. Even though we arrived very late they still gave us the full gourmet restaurant service and their friendliness and interest made us feel that we were staying with old friends.
