The room was quite spacious and clean.
We called housekeeping for replacement pillows because of my wife's allergy. They switched out 2 pillows for the 4. Later we called back for 2 more pillows. They said yes, but didn't come. Same happened when we called for help with our luggage. No help.
The Luxe is awesome. The property is full of trees and kind of tucked away, even though it's right off the 405. It's like an oasis. The suite was huge, bed very comfy, excellent shower, etc. It has a really nice lounge and a restaurant, great food.
Not much we didn't like. Drains were a little slow in the bathroom. A/C units were noisy because they were right out our window, but a wall blocked a lot of that noise, thankfully. A little pricey for everything but worth it if you want real quality. We loved this hotel and will go back. Driving around LA is stressful and hectic, and once you pull in to the Luxe you can take a deep breath and relax. The grounds are beautiful and park-like, and the staff is eager to meet your every need or want. The only reason I marked them down for service is because it took them a full day and 2 or 3 calls to bring luggage racks to the room. That's just being picky, if that's all I can complain about. They ...
Stayed there when it was the Bel Air Crest when we remodeled our home. I was visiting my family & wanted a hotel located in Brentwood and thought it would be a better hotel and location than The Angeleno. Location & price: chose the hotel & 4 Stars.
Bad hallways: smelled toxic chemicals & no A/C, no elevator & entrance is the parking lot. Rooms not serviced properly, under construction & had to repeatedly ask for resolution. Service people noisy in hallways & guests hang their laundry in public viewGood location, opted for jr. suite to have proper bathroom and extra room, but the hotel needs better management to make sure that things are done properly for guests. I like boutique hotels, but it is important that the service is excellent. I did not think that the hotel is living up to its potential.
The friendly staff.
The lack of public spaces.A good hotel located quite centrally to many tourist attractions, which worked out perfectly. Unfortunately when I was there the Highway Exit was under construction which made it difficult to navigate around all the detours.
Rooms are big and comfortables.
The very expensive parking! Should be included for the guests. The breakfast is also not included. The receptionist decided to change our king size room in the pool area to the main building to a darkness room facing to the meeting rooms.Very expensive parking that is not included and should be for the guests in the hotel. Breakfast is not included also. Be careful with the rooms...and the noise, there is a highway road very near...try to have what you have reserved. We were in a junior suite, they are big and comfortables. The hotel is nice and well decorated and the service is good.
I didn't like that the room was up a hill, far from the front desk. No restaurants are located in walking distance. They charged my personal card that was just for incidentals and they didn't make a note that my company card had already been charged by priceline so I was charged twice.
The rooms are clean; the staff are friendly, and the hotel lives up to the four stars status.
The location of this hotel has its advantage and disadvantage. It is conveniently located off the freeway near UCLA. The the draw back is the lack of shops within a walking distance of the hotel.
wonderful room/pool/grounds/food/location...we loved our experience here and would definately recommend it and go back. We were treated like royalty.
didn't like that we had to pay for parking (17/night) and had to tip the valet as well.
The rooms were a good size and the pool area is beautiful .Location is great! Close to everything . Management was very helpful with any issuesAs well.
Just be careful if there's a buffet , it's NOT INCLUDEWe did have a misunderstanding with the concierge. The room took longer then the aquired time, however the hotel management was more then fair and really went out of their way toRectify the issue..
Very clean and modern
Only valet parking (no self-park)
