Not thing .....
The owner . And The non-smoking rooms which are smoking.Priceline to remove this chain from their selection. And makes Priceline look bad to.
This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The people at the front office were extremely rude and harassed us about one of our friends coming over to visit. There were mattresses left out in the parking lot. The room at mold in it, stains on the floor.I contracted a serious infection while staying at this hotel. When I made an effort to get a refund on my stay there, the hotel refused to refund me. I will NEVER stay at another Americas Best Value and I recommend you stay away from this hotel.
I booked online when we checked-in, it says online that you pay additional $5 a night for additional adult, but we were charged $10 a night, the carpet is dirty and the toilet bowl was not cleaned wellNot good
Area is really like a trip to a third world country.Room was large and updated several years ago. Parking is very tight.
It was near the event I needed to attend
Asked front desk for cab but they would not call one, just gave me a # so I called them. Cab charged us a 'minimum' of $10 which was very over priced for the 0.70 miles we traveled. Hotel shuold provided a cheaper cab service in addition to this one.Hotel overall was fine.
The location is awesome. Close to the freeway, restaurants, and downtown
The office staff was ok. There was a young man who spent most of his time smoking outside and appeared irritated when I needed to check out. Two towels in the room had mold in the corner. The housekeeper was friendly and so was the older man and women in the office
staff were really nice and helping.had checked out and forgot my camera and remembered it went back and they had it waiting in the office for me.and all this was within 20 mins.location:really poor and i was scared for my life or getting robbed or shot
the only thing is the location of the hotel.it was scary and trashy. everything else was great. just wish i would of known l.a better and which side of town it was in.to me personally, it was over priced for the location it was in. but its close to downtown l.a about a 10min or less drive without traffic. also close to china town and about a 10 min drive to hollywood blvd. would not stay at this hotel again though. just the location was the main thing.
clean and stylish and new amenities
in haspanic area bit hard to under stand the people in the surounding shops when serching for food
The hotel is very dirty outside. The room carpet was dirty, the sheets and towels needed to be thrown away, stains were on them. The room had no good ventilation, and walls were really thin, you could hear EVERYTHING. No water in the vending machines. The hotel is very dirty outside. The room's carpet was dirty, the sheets and towels needed to be thrown away, stains were on them. The room had no good ventilation, and the air-conditioner needed the filter change, it made the room smell like mold. The walls were really thin, you could hear EVERYTHING. No water in the vending machines. Only thing good about this hotel is the location, close to the Staple Center, thats it. Not worth the stay.
Parking was off street...hotel manager watches who comes in and out.
The smell, the staff, the small parking, not enough cable channels, my mirror fell off the wall in the middle of the night, the shower was so small i bumped the wall twice, and people allowed to hang out in front of other's doors.I'm a believer of you get what you pay for, but even if I would've paid half of what I paid, it would've been too much! For what I got, I should've just paid about $XX total, I'm sorry, not being rude but this place had issues. The surrounding neighborhood is not one you can go out and walk around, unsafe.I went to a convention at the Convention Center and they had a deal with a nice nearby hotel for a room at $XXX, I paid $XX at ABVI and thought it was cool to save $XXX.....nope, not even worth it. In retrospect, I should've spent those extra $XXX and i wouldve been sleeping more peaceful and in a better environment.
