Everything was great!!
My family and I stayed here for a family reunion. Due to the weather we arrived late. We were promptly checked in and given the basic information (when and where the continental breakfast would be, the workout room, checkout time, etc...). We brought our luggage in, then walked over to Cracker Barrel and had a late dinner. The hotel was under construction/being remodeled. There were new carpets in the halls and room. A request for additional towels was quickly taken care of. Overall the stay was good an the kids enjoyed it. There favorite was the waffles at the continental breakfast.
The hotel was under construction/ being remodeled. The lobby had been moved to the other side of the hotel. The construction of the new lobby took up a very large area of the park lot. It prevented you from driving all the way around the hotel. During check in had to park in the driveway due to no available parking. Parking on the other side of the hotel would have been adequate had other hotel guests parked in between the line lines and not on them. Ended up parking in front of the gate to the construction area. The shower curtain rod was mounted to high causing water to get the floor while showering. I would have brought these concerns up to the person during my check out but after waiting several minutes left my room keys on the desk and left when no one showed up.
This hotel is a small but good stop on the way from the Northeast to the warmer south, i.e., Florida. Not a lot of good places to eat but most ok; a few local places are pretty good.
Staff was great
