Everything was fine
This is a no frills hotel. It was plenty adequate for our stay. The staff was pleasant and went out of their way to assist us. Internet worked well. Great place for family to stay if visiting your son or daughter at Liberty University.
The kitchen needs at least one thing, a toaster oven. I mentioned it to them and they thought the idea was great. You mention it as well and maybe one day when I return, they will have it for us.
No workout room, no coffee in the room
Nice people! the hotel room was clean!
No ice machines and no coffee machine in room
Staff very nice-room was very clean
No bathroom downstairs-was expecting one when I walked in
Great location, spacious rooms, courteous staff
No hairdryer, some of the TV channels were frozen the first evening, but fixed by the next morning (I did not call because I was thinking it was a technical issue with their digital TV service)
The price is very much match the hotel.
The location is a little bitter inconvenient.
location, price we were able to get the room for
Cooking in your room on stove top. Pots and pans provided. Quite rooms that are suite like. The manager and clerks Know me by name.
The towels have a stiff feeling sometimes. Small number of TV channels.
Easy access. When we checked in person was very friendly. He told us he was going to Ohio the following week.
We had to wait 15 mins. to check out. Only reason someone finally came was my spouse started coughing.
The water was wonderfully hot and good pressure. And the soap had a hint playdough smell... it was wonderful!
Weak on the breakfast... need a juice and they ran out of banana muffins but they got some the second day when I asked
COMPLETE KITCHEN IN ROOM... ( must bring your own utensils,,)
NO ICE MACHINE IN HALLWAY FLOORS........
Breakfast area was in lobby hallway and each day we had to ask them to restock items,
The location to the college was great.
I thought this would have at least some of the amenities as most other hotels. No coffee, no blow dryer, the 'breakfast' was the pre-wrapped muffins you can get at a convenient store, and the stairwells were filthy.
Everything - great location, friendly staff, clean & spacious room. Second stay here and I think I'm hooked!
Nothing - I had no issues at all.
Close to Liberty University.
Too expensive. Advertised with breakfast bar, but only served packs of oatmeal with hot water and pre-packaged muffins. Parking lot covered in ice. Staff was rude.
The staff was incredible. I was at Liberty for an intensive and it snowed (quite a bit). The manager helped me shovel my car out and the staff was very helpful and informative.
I did not like my crappy neighbors. I made a nightly complaint about the noise. The complaint was always addressed, which is nice. I wish the hotel had a gym and better cable options.
big kitchen, good location, decently clean, nice staff.
Walls were very thin.
Bathroom was dirty! There were black hairs in the tub which I had to clean myself (gross!) and on top of that while showering, there was standing water that came up to my ankles. Gross again.
location to highways we were traveling was good - distance from restaurants was very favorable
linens were less than nice - some of the towels were dark colored - not white & I would not use. No coffee pot or coffee in the room. Pillows were absolutely terrible & no extra - there was someone else's hair on the bed
Located close to Liberty University and the activities that we were in Lynchburg to attend.
Pretty meager breakfast offerings.
The towels were terrible old and used. The hole aspect of the bathroom was deplorable. For the money we've paid ,we expected more.
Two things: 1. The lady at the front desk was extremely cheerful and helpful, even going so far as to bring Fabreez to our room to try to washout the awful odor. 2. Location was perfect for our needs.
Dirty, dirty, dirty! The hotel overall felt unclean. The smell of our room was awful, after the staff sprayed Fabreez we bought our own can & hosed the room down; we also bought Vapo-rub to put in our nose!! The bed had a blood stain on comforter.
The location was key for my stay. The staff were very friendly as well!
The to go breakfast could have had more options like cereal and juices.
Good location,staff very friendly.
The room was looked clean but it smelled like wet animals were in the room before we got there.
I was traveling alone and was only going to spend 6 hours in it, so it was acceptable.
This is a hotel that allows smoking and according to the front desk, the Priceline default is a SMOKING room. I was lucky in that there was a non smoking room available but it certainly would not be the value I expected. The room was pretty spare.
convenience to the city
were greeted and managed unprofessionally when we arrived too early to check in
The location - it is walking distance to almost all of Liberty University (as long as you do not mind walking up hills)
The elevator broke down while we were there so we had to use the stairs. The bed was like a rock. And there is no housekeeping without a fee (that should be disclosed on Priceline when making bids!!!!)
Hallways smelled like cigarettes. Bed were uncomfortable.
The location for our visit there.
Requested a non-smoking room and got that, but when you stepped off the elevator the smell of cigarette smoke was very heavy. Thankfully, it did not get in our room, but anytime you were in the hallway you could smell it. The beds were uncomfortable.
Our room stank, was horrid. The manager was awesome got us immediately into another room.
The rooms reaked of cigarettes
carpeting was wet and the whole place smelled of smoke, altho there was a non smoking sign in the room. (it was considered a smoking room).
Front desk staff was excellent and helpful.
Room needs upgrading and more thorough cleaning. Elevator is sketchy.
Internet was very slow. Need to pay additional fee to get a decent speed.
Location that's all.
Rooms are not as advertised! Advertised as studio rooms. Rooms are the size of an average hotel room, just with a refridgerator and kitchen area. No common areas at all!
This Hotel is in an awesome location......3 minute walk to LIBERTY and a 3 minute walk to THOMAS ROAD Church......Not alot of Bell and whistles ( no wake up call and TV Check out ) Fridge, Microwave and stove....gotta love It........Room was clean
The staff was friendly and the room was very well maintained. My only complaint is the hallway seemed very worn (which I suppose is to be expected). It's definately time for new hallway carpet/lighting.
this hotel was in bad need up upgrades. In particular the carpets were in poor condition and there was a general bad smell throughout the third floor. staff was nice.
Room is sufficient size. Advertise full kichen, has fridge, microwave and 2 burner cooktop. No oven. Few dishes or untensils. Room was very dirty. First stop was store to buy disinfectant wipes. Room cleaning only once a week with additional charges for more frequent service. Remote to TV has quite a few non functioning buttons, and very dirty. The room is very generic without any of the extras you wouldexpect at an extended stay hotel. No fitness room or affiliated gym. No restaurant or continental breakfast. Quite a few 'guests' sitting in the hall long into the evening. Could be a nice place, but little or no attention to detail or cleanliness, no perks... very plain. I'm hoping this review will keep someone from being stuck here, as I am, while on a business trip.
