staff was very accommodating, room was clean & quiet & those 2 things were what I was most interested in
Convience and price
The room needed repair. The light in the ceiling was hanging down. The carpet wasn't cleaned very well. It just wasn't as nice as other Days Inn we have been in before.
The free breakfast was good with biscuits and gravy and also waffle maker as well as the usual cold items. Also the swimming pool was excellent.
Some of the rooms in the hotel were showing some signs of aging. Also I found the room showers would frequently change temperature suddenly and drastically.
The indoor pool is very nice and the hotel is generally clean.
Some of the rooms show signs of aging, like sticking doors and the shower temperature can change suddenly.
not much location was good
room was terrible bathroom was even worse
The bed bugs - no kidding
Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Good stay for the value.
The bathroom was small
Large room, comfortable king-size bed.
Old hotel, hard to find way around. Small bath.
The hot breakfast was probably the highlight of the hotel.
Comforters and sheets were all ripped and/or had holes in them. Ice machines didn't work and overall appearance was pretty filthy.
close to my destination
roaches and burn holes in bedding and carpet also got woke up every morning claiming they did not know that we were there.
I liked that the hotel was less than 5 minutes from walmart and resturants.
You could smell the cigarette smoke once you got to the top of stairs where the smoking rooms where.
Microwave and fridge in room was very convenient.
My door keys didn't work even after having them re-scanned at the front desk. My bathroom tub had a dirt ring around it, the workout room was damp and musty like an old basement, and well over 85 degrees with A/C on high.
Stayed in the back bldg and it was great! Quiet. Private. Slept good!
Yes. The bathroom was tiny and then the door opened back into the room taking up what little space there was. SIMPLY TOO SMALL!
The staff was excellent. The location was great
Bathroom was extremely small. The beds were very uncomfortable
This was our 6th stay at Day's Inn Madisonville, neglected in the past to write a review so here goes: An excellent bargain for the low price paid. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are decent, clean and roomy.
the staff was great, the hotel got indoor put but not a life saver on duty. The breakfeast was good.
The hotel needs repairs, there were craks on my windows and the bathroom door didn't closed the shower splash water outside of the tub so I was a little afraid that my kids would fall in the bathroom.
Staff was great and the room was clean.
I saw prostitutes...
close to highway, well lit
the places housekeeping forgot to vacuum were kind of scary
the location was excellent.however the motel doors were dirty and was in need of remodeling. then there were fruit flies in the room. probably won;t be staying there again.
Location. Breakfast was good.
The bed was sunken in. The fire alarm went off when we turned the heat on.
terrible service, non reliable wifi, rude staff.
The Sunday morning desk clerk was very nice
Our room was not clean and I complained about the dirt and debris between the frig and the dresser and behind the frig and the housekeeping supervisor who was sitting right there had no comment.
This was the worst hotel ever I would never recommend or stay at this hotel again Sheets had blood stains , the bathroom had toe nails On the floor , hair in the towels place smelled like smoke so bad I could even breath , list goes on
Price and breakfast was included.
The furniture in the rooms is very dated. The carpet needs to be replaced. The breakfast food was disappointing. The whole feel of the hotel is run-down.
easy to find
One bed looked like a pit. I've never seen such a bed in a hotel. Fortunately there were 2 so I just opted for the more normal looking one.
My room was well cared for and clean. The location seemed very secure which is difficult to find in many places. The staff was attentive and I enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this Days Inn and will make it my home while in that area again.
I do not often stay at budget hotels, but I was very pleasantly surprised with this Days Inn in Madisonville. I love to swim after a day on the road. I was astonished to discover that they have an OLYMPIC sized pool! I have never stayed in any hotel with such a large pool. In addition, they had very fast and free WiFi which is also very unusual. Finally, there was a free hot breakfast. Quite a bargain all around!!!
The rooms are OK for the price. For $** it's well worth the stay. You may be tempted to get a drink in the lounge (bully's lounge). DON'T DO IT! The lounge is under completely different ownership from the hotel. The owners of Day's Inn are nice...It's a family owned business. However, Bully's Lounge is a really ***** bar. Stay away for Bully's Lounge! Stay in the hotel, it's a good deal for the money. If you want a drink, just go to applebee's, it less than 1/2 mile away.
We stayed in Evansville at the Days Inn because it was close to Earlanton, the home of the people we were visiting. The front desk and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a handicapped accessible room, which was very clean, large and comfortable. The price was very reasonable and we would stay there again.
The people are really nice but the guest rooms are not very well kept. I stayed at the hotel a few years ago and I was very pleased with it. When I visited in April of 2006, I was amazed by the lack of attention given to keeping the place clean. What a disappointment.
