Location, rooms were very clean, proximity to slopes
Parking. If you leave at night to go around town then good luck later on to find a parking spot in the garage. Fees and taxes were excessive
Best location to stay. Closest to the lifts.
The room and the elevator are a bit small.
Very close to the main lodge, dog friendly, sound proof walls could not hear other pets. Cleaning staff is very nice.
Not nearly enough garage parking (there really should be more garage space for the amount of rooms in that one area), staff was asleep/ M.I.A. and we waited to check in for 20+ minutes after an 8-hour drive yelling, "hellooooo, anyone there?" Front desk could use a lot of customer service improvement. Very small rooms with VERY drafty, old windows. Would have paid more for a nicer room if we had known.
Loved the place, will come back again.
They should be called the mammoth mountain motel.
Hair in the tub. When booked the hotel cost was $130, by the time extra fees and expenses were added it was $200. Booked a superior room with mountain view which actually had a view of the roof of another building. False advertising.
I actually didn't realize that I booked the room through Hotels.com since I was using Kayak.com. Anyways, long story short I had to switch my reservation and Heidi at the front desk was the best and very accommodating! Room was clean and comfortable.
Beautiful location awesome staff. Plenty to do close by
Small bathroom no elevator
Great food. Staff was very professional. Awesome if your skiing or snowboarding.
Room was very outdated and small. A little on the dirty side.
I loved everything about Mammoth Mountain Inn. It felt like a true lodge should feel.
Very thin walls, heard everything next door and upstairs. Terrible water pressure, mold in the tub.
Comfortable beds, clean room, and hot shower with great water pressure. Most importantly, though, it is right at the base of the mountain, so you can walk from your room straight to the lifts.
Room did not have a table or a mini-fridge. Bathroom floor was cracked.
Nice place right at the base of Mammoth Mountain - killer views. Nice bar with views to the mountain.
Room fairly small -- I was in one of the older buildings. Bed just OK.
Check in procedure and staff was very nice. Main lodge was visually appealing. Waitstaff in restaurant was most accommodating.
Room felt small and not at all like the photos shown on your site.
It's proximity to the lift and bus stops going to town and Devil's Postpile National Monument.
Not enough restaurants and the hotel rooms adjacent to the main building need renovation.
The location is incredible. Friendly staff was helpful and courteous. We were treated like they're royalty!
The sink drain in the bathroom didn't work properly.
Best location for winter recreation on Mammoth. Front desk & lobby staff is very friendly & helpful. Shuttle makes it convenient to get in & out of the Villiage & town. If you're serious about your snow sports Mammorh Mountain Inn is your best bet.
Rooms are very small & lack amenities. The house keeping is minimalistic. Except the lobby which is amazing; the hotel looks, feels, & is old, run down, & a bit dirty. Hotel amenities (shop, hot tub, exercise room, & shuttle) are not available late enough.
Location, location, location. If you are there to ride, this is the place to stay. Get out of bed and hit the slopes. Staff was courteous and well informed. Arrived before check in and bought lift tickets at the front desk, and we were told we could check in (normally after 4 pm) right then and there because our room was ready (and no extra charge). Front desk and Dry Creek Bars staff were great.
Food and beverages are over priced for the quality, $3 for a 20 oz bottle of Coke, $9 for a bottled beer I got at another place in town for $6 ($3 at happy hour). $12 for chicken nachos that struggled to be mediocre in taste and a presentation (a fried flour tortilla bowl, filled with chips and toppings in a wax-paper lined plastic basket reminding me of a college dive bar circa 1988). This was enough to turn us off to even trying the dining room during our stay. Other than comfortable rooms next to the slopes and wonderful staff, there was no reason (food, camaraderie, fun, atmosphere) for us to stay on the mountain after the lifts closed.
