The en suite.
The no alcohol sign at the front door, because of muslim owners. Also the carpets are not clean and a lot of the corridors are scruffy and cluttered. There is a sitting room adjacent to reception with an old, broken, scary gas fire. Also in our room there was a grey pillow case on the bed which had milldew stains on it!
The location of this hotel was excellent for our trip, just off the "curry mile" of wilmslow road, so in very easy reach of many nice restaurants. Also close to the university. The rooms were warms and reasonably comfortable, The host helpful and friendly. Very good value for money.
Hotel not particularly well-maintained, some fittings loose in the bathroom. No TV in room.
it was the only option left to me as Manchester was very busy the weekend i stayed. As a room, with a shower, it sufficed.
it was very basic.
Quiet comfortable and nice but it's a little bit small. The Shower could be better.
it was quiet during the night and the bedding was clean
there was no room for us at breakfast, by the time there was room, breakfast was over. I mentioned this when we checked out but the man didn't seem to care.
The hotel was easy to find. It is located in a quiet street and most of the rooms overlook the back. It is close to many Asian restaurants and to public transport. The bed was comfortable.
The water was more tepid than warm and the hotel/rooms need to be refurbished. I would rate the breakfast 3/10.
no tv, not licenced
