Pros:We booked two rooms. My husband’s room that he had with our sons was fine. My room that I had the girls in was terrible. There was a heavy “musty” odor when we walked in - that finally dissipated when I got some cold air circulating. The carpet was coming up in one corner of the room and was just unattached and bunched up. When we went to bed about 11pm, the toilet wouldn’t stop running and would make flushing noises every so often, keeping us awake. There was hair and roaches in the bathroom so needless to say we weren’t about to eat in that kitchen. We went next door and spent 40 bucks for breakfast.
Cons:Cleaner, more upkept rooms.
Pros:The staff was GREAT. Really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. One of the housekeepers even found my daughters lost "blankie." We are VERY thankful for that and for her being so efficient.
Cons:This hotel was advertised to have QUEEN beds. Our room had FULL beds. I have used this search engine many times for rental and hotels and always gotten what I asked for, or what i paid for. I was disappointed of this false advertising as I am tall and really could not sleep with my feet hanging off end of bed, especially with two of us in the bed. I would have picked different hotel had it been listed as Full Beds, not Queen. The air was on 52 degrees when we entered the room at 11 pm with sleeping children coming off our road trip. The rooms weren't very clean at all. The toilet had pee all behind it on the floor and looked like hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bed had trash behind it. Surfaces were wiped clean...room just needed a deep clean... kind of gross.
Pros:this was a midpoint stop on a 2 day road trip. In late, left early. Night Clerk very cordial and helpful. Room comfortable.
Cons:A/C was not working in first room, missing knob. Moved us to another 3rd floor room with A/C barely coming out, filthy carpet, broken hairdryer...mini-fridge with microwave on it sitting at the end of the bed. Ice located on 1st floor only. Garbage can at front of hotel overflowing.
