There was direct access to the beach and the view was beautiful.

Yes, I didn't like the outside parking. Also, I didn't like that there was no coffee given in the rooms only a coffee maker.

They are always cleaning! Necessary when you are right on the beach, but still impressive. Constant sweeping. The A/C worked well in my room, but not in my friends' room. Although the beds were hard, they managed to be very comfortable for me. Several English tv channels. It is right on the beach! Nice to be able to just walk right there and also to have the view.

NOISY! I had a room overlooking the pool, but also the beach. My room had very little insulation from the noise on the beach (bands) or down below (poolside entertainment) OR next door (through the adjoining door). In fact, every afternoon, my room also smelled like frying food from the pool restaurant. The sounds of the waves in the middle of the night were very strong, too! I also went to perhaps the best quality restaurant there (La Concha) and had a delicious meal, which I then vomited up a few hours later. I was surprised that, as careful as I was about eating only trustworthy places and foods, that cooked fish, vegetables and rice would finally get me. Towel service was spotty. They would come get the dirty towels early in the day and not clean the room until late afternoon, so if you needed a shower mid-day, you might have been without a towel. I rarely was provided with hand towels and washcloths both. They try very hard to get you to buy a timeshare. No desire, with an experience like this.

Okay 6.0

I stayed at El Cid Castilla in July for 4 nights with my family.  All infrastructures are little outdated but fully functional and in a very good location right in the middle of everything and close to everything that Mazatlan has to offer. BUT WILL NEVER GO BACK TO EL CID Service is NOT good. LOUD.-They gave me a Room with a pool view; But with a LOUD speaker right outside my balcony. During the day the Entertainer was using it and we were not able to take a NAP during the day. We complained about it 3 times. But they never did anything! DECEPTION.-First 2 days they were Bugging me over the phone to OFFER ME, “FREE GIFTS” . All inclusive treatment for 24 hrs, Free Breakfast or Lunch.- They said that the purpose was to tour me throught all the El Cid installations, like La Marina &  Golf club. So that next time I book my vacations I consider the All inclusive option. LIES and MORE LIES!! We decided to go. And the lunch was PITIFUL.  If I knew. I would’ve gone to a nicer place with what...

quijote inn is nice, but not ''too nice''. on-site restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. food and meal prices are ok. their beach has several shade palapas with lounge chairs. beach is ok but wife and i preferred the beach couple blocks north of motel. pool and pool area was cleaned and swept daily. our room was a studio w/ two double beds. ''kitchen portion'' had a fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, forks, knives, coffee pot. staff was friendly and helpful. room cleanliness good, maid service good. there is a good supply of pool towels at the office, towels are clean but a little tattered. at present, there is construction going on for a 3 level parking garage at the street side of the quijote inn. from 7:30 to 5:00, there was constuction noise, but we were out and about most of the day so didn't bother us. we recommend this property as ok place to stay-had good view of pool and ocean.

In the height of the tourist season, they were doing major construction! The Jacuzzi was closed and that was the main reason we selected it.\nThe beds are slabs of concrete with a thin mattress on top - like sleeping on the floor! The only good thing was the Junior Suite has a fold-out bed and I was able to almost sleep on it.\nThe parking lot was filled with construction material and they wanted us to park acrss the street until we told them we would park in their lot or find another hotel.\nWe ate only one meal in their restaurant 0 they did not have decaffinated coffee and went somewhere to buy a jar of the stuff for instant. We ate Marlin that was NOT markline and was not fresh! It was poorly prepared and my wifehad stomach cramps the entire night.\nI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!!

The staff were very nice. when I call for room service or other needs they came fast.

This is for my personal needs. Far from downtown.

I was very happy with the service and how nice everybody was. From the front desk to the bellboy to the restaurant to the person cleaning the room, etc.

The service was really great - always someone asking how they could help. Location right on the beach, and the beautiful infinity pool made it all top notch.

Had to cancel..my girlfriend's plans changed (she is still out of town), I e-mailed them as soon as I found out (18-19th). Called next day to verify they received my letter. No! woman in charge of reservations did not check her e-mail.She looked as I had her the 'phone..'Oh, I see!' They took almost 200 USD out of my bank account on the 18th, and as of the 27th have not refunded.Sent another e-mail yesterday, hoping to settle this without either me going there in person, or legally. Very shoddy way to run a business, I would fire that woman in a heart-beat!! She reflects on the entire hotel, but she is not the only one!! Sad to say, can not tell you anything about the actual hotel. Would like to recommend Priceline.com. I was able to secure that room at 5:30 in the morning, showed only 5 rooms left and I had one of them. Received confirmation number and PIN. Hotel calls appox 9:30, says no rooms available..haha..I gave them the ...

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
