Close to city center.
Small room next to office where telephone ringing could be heard. Bed noisy because of plastic cover. Sheets thin. Blanket with holes. Couldn't sleep. Got up at 4:30 and left.
The Location was in close proximaty to Space Farms. Just over the little bridge in NJ
Older Motel a little dated, but a fine place to spend the night. This motel is a fine place to stay if your not fussy. If you are looking for high end move on. It is a bit dated but reasonably clean with good parking right in front of your room.
Room was incredibly moldy, very strong smell of mildew. Took ten minutes for the manager to answer the bell at front desk, and then he was quite rude.Would highly recommend you stay away! Use only as last resort if nothing else is available in the area.
The man at the office who we later found out is the owner, barely speaks english. He was very rude and did not seem to understand what I was trying to say. I wanted a room with 2 beds that was pet friendly, he would not accommodate. We were there for a funeral and had I not booked through priceline and had already paid for the hotel, because they did not let me cancel the reservation and book another hotel, we would've stayed elsewhere. The room smelled like mothballs and the refrigerator was barely cold. The man made me pay an extra $20 to let two other people stay in the room even though priceline did not give me the option to choose the amount
-reasonable price -fairly quiet -close to main part of town (but lack of sidewalk by the hotel kept us from walking the half mile or so to the town centre)
-room was 'tired' and did not smell fresh -could use some refurbishing or renovatingIt was satisfactory for our needs, but the whole motel could use some freshening up. Although our room was non-smoking, the air seemed stale.
The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean.
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable with a plastic cover. Mattress did not appear old but was clearly a cheap mattress.Other than the poor quality of the bed, this was an adequate place to spend one night.
There was nothing about the experience that I can say I liked best about it.
1St when I arrived they would not take a credit card. So I had to locate an atm; No receipt was given I got a hand written note...then I advised them i would be checking out early and they refused a refund for 1 day; they charged more sales more than PAThe staff was not rude but they were not friendly; not only did they call me everyday asking for housekeeping but they also tried to get into the room while I was there after I informed them I did not need housekeeping. The would not refund me for one day blaming priceline for this even though I informed them in plenty of time that I would not be staying the full 4 nights. also they do not accept credit cards but that was never told to me when booking so I had to be inconvenieced to try to locate an atm to take cash out. Then I found that they charged sales tax of 9% which pennsylvania's sales tax is 6%. Overall this h...
The rooms are not resort quality - but very fine for travelers. Appreciated the care and cleanliness the staff provided. The price was very fair. We felt very comfortable.
