Stayed at the hotel for its historic significance.
Room service and food prices in general are ridiculously high, even when compared to their competitors.
After making my complaints the management met with me, and they did extend some compensation for my inconvenience. (It was more than I was expecting, but really didn't make up for my disappointment.) I do believe the new management will improve the training of the staff. ***The Pool/Spa staff and facilities were shining stars. They were courteous and welcoming. I spent two days relaxing in the pool and sauna.
It isn't a real Hilton. Smiles and courtesy are hard to find. The concierge desk was the worst I've ever experienced. I literally felt sorry for asking for help. I literally tried to leave the hotel early because it was so humiliating. (Hilton's customer service didn't help in this matter either.)
staff was very friendly
