Pros:It was an older place, but clean. Check in person wasn't friendly. Nice place and we would stay again.
Pros:The location and the view.
Cons:I was blamed for Expedia not having to rooms listed correctly and being charged extra after being told the fee would be waved due to the mistake on the website. The people at the front desk were alright. The security guard acted like I was bothering him by calling because the person next door was being loud and disturbing my sleep. Even after calling all they did was get louder. The A/C didn't work and we slept with the sliding glass door open every night. Our room never got below 71° and it only got that cool after opening the door. With the door closed and the air on it only went down to 73°. Two sliding glass doors that led to a ledge. Why bother to have sliding glass doors if they only open to a railing. It would have been better to just have a window. It would have been almost $300 for three nights after the rate was discounted. Nothing was actually included with the room besides the absolute basics. No housekeeping and not even an offer of clean towels or anything the whole time we were there. We don't usually pay that much for much nicer hotels that offer the works. Everything was just cramped. Definitely won't be staying there again and would not recommend it to anyone else. The staff turned out to be very unprofessional and sent me a rather smart response back telling me I should have review the website better. Their website and Expedia did not match so it was not my fault for the mix up. Expedia had 2 different 1 bedroom condos listed but the hotel only offers one type of 1 bedroom condos. So when viewing their site I only saw one type as described but it turned out to be an efficiency instead of a condo. Expedia also did not list the bed type which was also part of the problem. The Yachtsman only offers the king sized bed in the 1 bedroom Condo so I assumed that's what I was getting. Either way it doesn't matter now because it is over and done with and I will not be going back. I should have done the usual thing and view the hotel before I considered booking it.
