Chiobani yogurt for breakfast (but see note below); large window in the room.
Reservation NOT submitted by Priceline to the hotel (this was corrected, but involved 3 phone calls) yogurts served at breakfast were frozen. card-activated access to building did not work (staff claimed it is because of the cold)This hotel is reasonably priced (not the cheapest in the area, but cheaper than most other hotels), and the rooms are excellent - clean, pleasant and convenient. Location is close to a few restaurants by foot, but anywhere else requires driving, although a very short distance to Mystic Seaport. Breakfast room is very nice, with window walls, fun waffle maker, and Chiobani yogurts. But the yogurts were frozen, which made them inedible (and an inappropriate way to store yogurt). A small contribution to save the planet would be if the hotel could use paper dishes instead of Styrofoam in the breakfast room.
It's location is great! Close to everything---Foxwoods is only 8 miles away.
Breakfast area was freezing, but we were told they were working to correct that. All in all good place for the money. Close to Foxwoods----the reason we were there----and right next to Olde Mystic Village. Initially our reservation was messed up. I had reserved a king suite with fridge and microwave and they assigned us a regular 2 bed room, and said that was what was showing in the computer. I always print my confirmations so it wasn't a problem actually getting the room I had reserved, but when we opened the door to the room the heat hadn't been turned on and it was only 10 degree's OUTSIDE so it was mighty cold in there. We cranked the heat full blast and went out to dinner so the room could warm up!!!! We had to call the front desk to have the fridge and microwave brought to the room as they move them from room to room instead of having enough for every room that shoul...
Hotel was fine but when I arrived, they had no reservation from Priceline and I had made it 2 days in advance. Fortunately they had another room with the same setup for me. Someone dropped the ball and I think you folks may be to blame
Very simple. Expectations met
No shuttle to casino.Discount rates but overall was exactly what expected nothing more nothing less. Clean, quick entry and exit Would definitely stay there again
Noise from nearby rooms and floor above
The staff was very helpful, courteous, and friendly. She was also very apologetic and quickly resolved my issue.
Even for a 2 star hotel, it was awful. It had dim lights in the corridors, which were very cold and uninviting. And my towels were dirty!!!
It was actually nicer than expected for the amount we paid
NoI was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and size of the rooms the staff were very friendly and helpful
Close to shopping
YES. Arrived @3:20 pm to check in. Room was not ready short staffed and motel was booked day before (NOT MY PROBLEM) other people were getting their room keys was told did not know when our room would be ready called priceline & they were no helpMattress was bumpy lumpy, sheets didn't look clean we're all wrinkled will never stay at another days in
Close to where we wanted to be.Decent room for the price. Would go back to stay if passing through again.
Staff accommodated every need expediently and courteously (We had to move rooms due to plumbing issue and this was instantaneously handled)
Sewage seeping/bubbling up through the sink in the hotel room created stinky unsanitary conditions. Also, the carpet seemed dirty. This room was exactly what you get for the price. This was good for our stay, as we were gone all day from breakfast until after dinner with activities. Otherwise, if you plan on being in your room any longer, I would spring for the extra bucks and find a nicer place to stay.
