Bed was confortable enough. Elevator worked fine.
Travelled on 11/16/15 and weather in Tennessee was not so great. Would have been nice to have an indoor pool to unwind instead of outdoor pool unusable this time of year.
Doors were flimsy and the continental breakfast was sparse.
I liked the expansive choices on the breakfast bar that accompanied our room reservations. There were plenty of food options for light and heavy meals. The waitstaff were terrific. They were quickly responsive to our questions. The suite had a nice front room with a couch and small kitchenette. The area adequate for doing work while my Mother could watch TV in the bedroom area without disturbing me.
I would have liked to have bellhops help with our luggage.
It was close to the airport. Our original room was given to someone else so we got an upgrade.
The room had two beds but was small. The door to the living area could not be closed. Since we were there for one night, we did not use the kitchen facility.
The room was so clean, and the bed awesome.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was an inexpensive shuttle the front desk told us about that took us downtown. Location was close to the airport and the downtown area. The beds were comfortable. The pool looked nice, but we didn't use it. Breakfast wasn't bad for continental.
Rooms are extremely outdated. Our first room reeked of cat urine! There was trash left in the trash can, soda spilled in the sink, horrible!! Luckily, we were moved to another room that was just very, very old looking, but was pretty clean. The place just needs updating, new carpet, new sofas, etc... I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it until it is updated and thoroughly cleaned.
I booked this hotel literally 5 days before my trip, a king non smoking room, and my room w a s given away, and I was placed in a king smoking suite. I could understand if I had booked the hotel weeks in advance but it was literally a couple of days. There is no reason why I should have been placed in a smoking room, when I paid for and booked a non smoking room.
The pool was okay. It has a rough bottom so it tore up my kids' feet, but they still had fun. The location was good.
They didn't change our bed linens the entire time we were there (four days). We had to call to the front desk on day 2 to get clean towels and have our trash dumped. When I locked myself out, I had to wait 20-30 minutes in line because there was only one person at the desk and she was on the phone the entire time. The breakfast was sparse (cereal, donuts, etc.). We could have biscuits and gravy on some days and waffles on other days, but they weren't very good. One of the bins of cereal said it was Honey Nut Cheerios, but it turned out to be just plain Cheerios. Both vending machines were out of order. The technology is horrible. The sockets were extremely loose and had no covers on them. The bedroom door wouldn't close because they crammed two beds into a small area. The bathroom door wouldn't close for some unknown reason. I did not have a hot shower until I got up at 2:15 a.m. on my departure day. I had lukewarm-to-cold showers the rest of the time. The television is old and there were no linens on the fold-away bed in the couch. Overall, just a very poorly run motel/hotel.
It was dirty, had bugs, staff was not friendly. Will not stay there ever again
The place is a dump!
Even the telephone in the room doesn't work!
Had to wait 10 minutes before desk clerk arrived. Room clean, but very dated. No hot water (only luke warm) Very loud talking in parking lot and halls at 2am. It was sold out - meaning not very many choices in the area. Few TV channel options (weather channel was the best) Bed very comfortable
The complimentary breakfast was ok. The staff responded well to our requests and questions, as long as we asked the 'right questions'.
The shuttle system to get into town. The staff didn't explain how it worked and while it was cheaper than a cab, it was really inconvenient. The hotel was quite far out of town so you would have to drive to get into town. Also the hotel name is TERRIBLE. Try to tell a cab driver to take you to "Nashville Airport Inn and Suites" and have them understand where you want to go, so know the address. Our room was perfect, until we discovered the shower didn't work, so we got switched out... into a smokers room with 2 beds instead of the single king we wanted. So all of our belongings smelled when we left and there were cigarette burn holes in the comforter. Talk about gross.
Booked two rooms through Getaroom, which the hotel confirmed and accepted payment about six weeks in advance. The place is cheap, so I didn't expect much. But boy did they under-deliver is every category. When I arrived, there was just one employee answering the phone and checking in about 25 guests. The line stretched out the door, into the parking lot and around the corner. Almost every reservation had been lost or mixed up, and people were being re-shuffled into different rooms. It took an hour to reach the front of the line, where I was told the hotel only had one the two rooms I booked. They offered a smaller smoking room, which I accepted and soon found -- surprise! -- another guest inside. I was the second person who checked in that afternoon and found someone else in their room. No manager was available. No other room was available, so the six people in our party squeezed into a two-bedroom suite for two nights. Lucky I had an air mattress in the car. There was no hot water in our room. Or anyone else's, from what other guests told me. Also, no clean towels. There was lots of old, grimey furniture and general rubbish lining certain hallways of the building. Don't know why. Don't wanna know why. The lone employee tried to blame Getaroom and other third-party bookers for the room situation, even though me and just about everyone else had documentation showing the hotel had confirmed the reservations and accepted payment. Felt bad for the employee, who was left alone during peak hours with a batch of screwed up reservations. He caught hell from a group of cheer moms who had traveled from West Virginia. Getaroom was able to get my money back, thankfully.
It was cheap.
Very dingy. Poor upgrades over the years. TV signal flickered too much.
The shower floor had a poorly patched hole that was dangerous and the carpet was so dirty that it tracked black dirt into the bathroom.
Did not have my room when I arrived. Said my reservation had been "used" and that someone else was booked into my room. Took a half an hour to figure out that there were no other king rooms and no other nonsmoking rooms. Could not explain what had happened. Had to call my credit card company and block any charge from them and go find another hotel in the middle of the night.
Location to airport and freeway.
Distant to food.
Double room / suite for $65/night
Rooms were getting old.....dated. starting to show their age.
Failed to clean room or deliver towels 2 out of the 3 days we stayed.
