Ideal for our purposes. Night halt during long road trip.Close to highway
The public spaces are very nice...classy. The place was clean and nice a nice pool/hot tub area.
I would like to have had a fridge in the room.
The location was very convenient.
NothingOur stay was very brief, but we had zero complaints about everything our stay included.
Very convenient to New Buffalo, Michigan City, South Shore train to Chicago and everything else in SW Michigan. Great place to stay. The pool/hot tub looked nice but we did not take advantage of it. Breakfast was fine.
Clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent, as well.
Pillows weren't very nice.
Location, clean room, had a pool and hot tub.
The staff did nothing about the loud drunk people who went on for hours outside the elevator and in the halls throughout the night. I can't imagine they didn't hear what was going on.REALLY, REALLY loud, drunk, obnoxious college kids yelling throughout the middle of the night starting at 2 AM and continuing on for hours. The hotel did NOTHING. The walls are VERY thin. Gross, big people in the pool made the pool and hot tub unappealing. I even heard the shuttle bus driver telling passengers to settle down in the bus (which was outside out window) when I was in my second floor room. Those are thin walls!
My key cards would not work when I checked in, I checked in for 3 days, but the cards stopped working at the end of the first day, I had to go get new cards. A few other minor issues, but I only have 255 characters. All in all a good place to stay, I would give the Fairfield inn behind this hotel a very slight edge due to the rooms having refrigerators. I was told by a former employee that some of the holiday inn rooms also have them, but my room (110) did not.
I feel my Priceline deal was overpriced the hotel was mediocre Far from the beach and the breakfast are had only a couple tables a lot of people standing and eating.
Basic hotel with an indoor pool and exercise room (2 treadmills).
Breakfast area was crowded. Only one computer for guest use. No refridgerator or microwave in the room (2 queen beds).Average hotel, no frills.
