Some mold in the tile work of the bathroom, decor seems a little dated. When I checked in prior to 3 pm, the first words out of the check in desk was "oh you can't check in until 3pm" without even checking to see if any rooms had become available prior. Having worked in the hotel business for 10 years, I am fully aware of when rooms typically become available, even for sold out situations. There should always be an effort made to at least look in the system before turning away a customer who has been traveling for 10+ hours.
Nothing everything was great
The hotel is about 0.3 miles as the crow flies from airport or amtrak. But you can't get there in ANY other way than by vehicle -- it is impossible to walk even for the adventurous. This would be ok if they ran a shuttle more often, but they only run it every 30 minutes. Considering it is a 5 minute drive to the airport, they ought to run it every 15 AT LEAST. After arriving at the amtrak station or airport, it can take up to an hour to get to the hotel, between taking the airtrain to the shuttle pickup area (not well signed), and then just missing the infrequent shuttle. Since their only selling point is proximity to the airport, this means they are effectively quite a bit farther from the airport than it appears. PS - when I say impossible, I really mean impossible. The amtrak station is (as described by an employee) 'sealed', meaning you cannot get into or out of it except by amtrak train or airtrain. This means to walk to the amtrak station (across a parking lot from the hotel according to satellite photos), you would have to walk to the airport first; but there's no pedestrian crossing on the giant spaghetti of highway between you and your destination. I suppose you could walk a mile north, cross using a vehicle underpass, and then walk a mile south again... if the cops don't pick you up on the shoulder of the highway.
The location isn't far from NYC, worth what we paid to stay, TV guide was delayed The restaurant was awesome the host was really good at the bar with serving drinks the wings were great
The ice machine was out room could've been bigger we had a king size bed which took up most of the space in the room wish they had an indoor pool
The sheets seemed clean I guess. The a/c unit kinda worked.
The room seemed dirty. The whole hotel seed dirty. Thought the elevator would trap me. The beds were like sleeping on plywood. The molding and trim were all broken all over. The furniture was beat up. All the outlets were loose and/or broken and there was no place to charge a phone. The bathroom was functional, but not particularly pleasant. The door locks were finicky. Glad I only needed to be there for a short night.
Internet connectivity was slow. Other amenities weren't good

I stayed on the second floor in room 261 and as soon as the elevator door opened, I saw that the chairs in the lobby were filthy. One of them had a large stain on the seat cushion. The floor smelled strange- not clean and the hallway carpet had trash on it and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days. The pillow cases on the bed smelled like they had not been replaced from prior guest so I put a towel over the pillow to create a barrier. The room door also needs to be replaced. I had to smash it like a line backer to get into the room each time because the door kept getting stuck. Likewise, I had to struggle from the inside to get out. It's a fire hazard.
It is very convenient to the airport and the rates are very competitive. For the most part the staff at the front desk are very helpful, they answered all the questions I had, Ivette was extremely helpful.
The hotel is a lot older than it looks in the pictures, and it definitely shows on the inside. The bathrooms severely need updating along with general room decor. You don't even get a refrigerator or microwave in your room, and when I did request a refrigerator it took more than a day to get one. I expected more from the Wyndham name, but I really can't complain for the price.
Close to the airport, clean room and bathroom. Easy check in and check out!
Beware of some of the airport shuttle drivers. They are a little reckless!
Great location by the airport. Nice to have the snack counter and restaurant connected to the building. Not the best place I've ever stayed but you get what you pay for. It was clean and convenient
The screen was broken on my balcony.
It was not far from the airport. Rooms were spacious.
The bathroom was not clean with multiple hairs on the floor. Ceiling tiles were falling above the shower. Shower curtain was not clean. The door to room did not open well, had to use force. Towels felt like sand paper, very rough. Telephone did not work in our hotel room. This caused a problem when we ordered pizza to deliver as no restaurants are near and the hotel staff did not inform us that they can not deliver to our room, so two hours later we found out our telephone did not work. When we went downstairs to inform the front desk, they did not apologize or seem like they cared at all. Being in the customer service business, it would have been nice if someone from the staff would have came up to our room as our phone did not work. Also being a hotel by the airport, you will get a lot of out of state guests who do not know all hotel rules.
The operator working around 6P on Mar 5 was great. She helped me over the phone and assisted with ensuring our stay was pleasant. She later checked us in when we arrived. Bellman was quite helpful getting our luggage to our room. Shuttle bus drivers were great. On time and helpful.
Room wasn't clean as it should have been. We were too tired to really care but if we were staying longer than overnight we would have said something. The next morning, we went to get coffee at the little stand in the lobby. The young man got the coffee, soda, and muffin. I paid, and then asked if I could get a cup with ice for my canned soda. Nope. I then asked if I could have him break a $10 bill so I'd be able to tip the shuttle driver. Can't do it after a sale. Can't is a word that rarely should be used or if you are required to do so, please explain it as a policy that you have to enforce and you're really sorry. Not with an answer and then stare at the customer.
The customer was great had no major issues the bed was so comfy and the bathroom was clean the room was in great shape not like other hotels
The room smelled weird but i brought my own air freshner and they need to add breakfast with the stay and i will come more often

The hotel is an overall nice lookinging hotel. The beds were comfortable. They had a hotel bus that brought you to the airport which then you would take airtran to the train station, then a train to New York City it was a quick and easy process to get there.
I didnt like the ladys at the front counter they were rude. They seem like they didn't care who was checking in or who was checking out. You would think they would hire someone nice and pleasant to be at the front counter checking people in and out. The bathroom was very dirty!!
I was denied entrance into my room. The supervision was very rude and insulting
The staff was wonderful. The ease and cheerfulness in their efforts to accommodate our needs created an attitude of welcomeness, and warmth to make our stay enjoyable
The bathroom needs help. There was no vent or fan. The commode is much to low for seniors and especially for males. There is not enough shelf space for toiletries. There was contact between the lav door and the commode.
Hotel was filthy. The shuttle from the airport took for ever. I will never stay there again.
This hotel facilities are ok within price range.it is good if you visiting new york city and need a place to stay.

Had to pay $20 to get a taxi to the hotel because I could not find the shuttle at Newark;
The location near EWS was convenient for our early morning flight.
Hotels have definitely figured out the demand/price model. With the French air traffic controllers on strike, many flights from EWR were being rescheduled and demand for rooms near the hotel soared. I checked prices via Hotel Tonight and Expedia several days before our required stay, but did not book ahead because we heard the strike was coming and we didn't want to pay for a hotel we didn't end up using because our flight didn't arrive. Room prices were $129-159 per night. However, when I booked the rooms as we departed Zurich, the price had soared to $199. Throw in the tax and we paid $470 for two rooms, which we used for 5 hours. I understand the supply and demand model, but the aging quality of this hotel didn't justify the price.
The location of this hotel is very good, hotel is very clean. the money is very worthwhile.
