The bed sheets were very comfy.

Stood for 12 min at the the front desk waiting for a receptionist to address me. She was sitting behind a partition on the phone the entire time laughing and conversing. When I entered my room, I found maintenance tools on the bed and counter, no apology.

Front staff very rude and unhelping, approached by another front employee asking if I was a new employee, to which I responded no. Before I could explain that I had already been waiting 10 minutes to check in, she immediately turns around and walks off. Usually I have great reviews for Candlewood hotels (great quality for price), but this experience in this establishment has greatly disappointed me. Will NOT be returning to this location.

Common areas were great for socializing with others that we traveled with. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I wish the breakfasts were served earlier. I couldn't take advantage of that due to the late hour (7AM). Many business and other travelers I know start out early.

I can't say what I liked best because it's an excellent place. Very friendly staff. Very quiet. Excellent amenities. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel!

The hotel is located in the heart of northwest Augusta. 3 miles from the National. Very close to shopping, restaurants and other attractions. And it's only a 23 minute very easy drive to the airport. Ideal location.

The young people on the staff, especially at the front desk, were extremely friendly and helpful.

Why were we charged $120 more than the rate you quoted on the Price line confirmation? We have learned our lesson and go back to what we have always done and that is booking straight with the hotel. You ripped us off!

As a single lady traveling alone I really appreciated the genuine friendliness of this lovely hotel located in downtown Augusta. I was traveling on some business with a local bank and needed to stay close to my jobsite. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed my stay. The room was very nice and clean, the bed was one of the best I have slept on in my travels, the restaurant had a great omelette that I really enjoyed, and the penthouse level bar was also a treat for a single lady to enjoy. The view was spectacular and it was a refined and laid back place to enjoy a glass of wine! I loved the entire staff and will definitely return on my next visit!

I don't like the room2room doors. And the $7 per day self parking fee.

I was a little nervous considering the other review, but we had a great experience here. I found it clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was nice and helpful. I did notice one thing when checking out: the customer in front of me was very upset because of their cancellation policy. They were trying to cancel their room Sunday morning for Sunday night. They adhere to their cancellation policy, so only book for what you know you need. I have no complaints and would stay here again. The one-bedroom was perfect for my family of 4.

On Saturday Aug 16, 2014 at around 4:00 pm I left my room to walk. When I came back to my room my key card wouldn't open the door. I went to the desk and the attendant said the key was active, but she reset it anyway. I went back to the room, but the key still didn't work. I went back to the desk and the maintenance man was called to meet me at my room. He had to adjust the batteries on the door and reset the code for the door.

Location was fair.

I was assigned to room 106. I cut the air conditioner on when I left (2hrs). I returned, cut on the light; and observed roaches, yes roaches fleeing from the nightstand. I killed several then requested another room. I was not pleased. My first time here.

I spoke with the manager. He told me that they sprayed after they took out the air conditioners and replaced them. He apologized then assigned room 108. Needless to say, I did not feel comfortable. I kept my bags and purse closed fearful that they may come from room 106. I slept on top of the covers. Needless to say, I was tired from not getting sleep. Not a good experience. I use Priceline a lot & would never want to be placed at this hotel again. I not quite sure how that would work if I as to utilize Priceline again. I paid and extra $20 for a double bed. I was not given the option to select King size or double. I had a child with me.

The check-in and check-out staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and was attended to frequently.

We had the continental breakfast two times, and both times it was terrible. There was barely any food either time, and we were there at least an hour before it was over. The housekeeping staff were constantly loud in the hallways.

Overall, it was a clean hotel, with good customer service. The housekeeping staff were friendly but loud. The breakfast was terrible-we ended up going out to eat for breakfast every morning, which defeated the purpose of choosing this hotel for its free breakfast. Priceline gave us a great rate of XXX/night, which saved us money in the long run.

Our shower quit working before I was able to take one. I was not able to bathe before checking out. I notified the front desk as we were checking out. They apologized but that was it.

The restaurant was pricey for good but not great food. It seems odd that dinner for 2 cost as much as the room.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the rooms are clean.

Administration needs to pay attention to repairs that need to be done. For example a door to the bathroom was almost impossible to close. Other than this,my stay was great.

This hotel is in a safe district.

First room we were in the first night had a horrible smell that masking sprays could not cover. We asked for a different room as soon as we arrived but they did not offer us a different room for four hours and then it smelled almost as bad as the first.

Very run down, dated and in poor condition. It is unconscionable that they could charge as much as they do for such a pit, even during Master's week. Our first room had a horrible smell that could not be masked and we were told there were no other rooms available. The second night we insisted on a different room and were provided a better room along with a bottle of wine for our trouble. I have had a lot of bad bottles of wine but this may have been the singular worst. It could not have cost them more than $4.

The first room had a horrible odor to it and we asked to be moved. The second was better; no odor, but the room was not clean. When we went to shower there were no towels, soap or shampoo. We called for these items and received a call back asking who we were and why we were in that room. that evening we discovered that the door would not even latch lock. It was simply a very poorly run hotel in need of a major overhaul

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
