5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: The beds were very hard and I couldn’t sleep bc my back and hips hurt from the stiff mattress. The sink and tub had hair in them. The most disgusting thing was finding blood on a packaged blanket that I was gonna cover up with.. There was also blood on the wall by the window. Very disappointing. I didn’t bother speaking to a staff member bc when I stood in line waiting to discuss the issue with a member I was totally ignored while the person at the desk chatted for some time and then walked off without even acknowledging me. At that point I knew that my issues were worthless, so my husband and I decided to clean the bathroom and use our own personal covers that were in the car.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean, staff was very kind, and everything was up to date even the bathrooms.
Cons: There wasn’t any tubs in the bathroom.

Pros: Staff was excellent and very accommodating! Kudo's to Shannon in housekeeping for her flexibility and assistance with a smile!
7.9 Good
Pros: Very dissatisfied when there was a $25 fee to check in early (room ready) and then have to wait 30 minutes to check in at 3. Bad business and poor customer service plan.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I always stay here if I'm traveling through Augusta! I feel safe here, and the hotel is immaculately clean! The room is spacious, the beds are always comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious!
Cons: During this past visit, I didn't get checked in until 1:30 a.m. and I slept until 8:45 a.m. When I went to get breakfast at 9:15 a.m., the kitchen had closed at 9 a.m.

Pros: Beautiful property.
Cons: It was all amazing. Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host and hostess were delightful; they complimented one another and worked well together to make sure our needs were met and necessary information provided without being intrusive. We hope to return!
Cons: The lighting in our bedroom was not adequate for Forrest (79) to read and he restorted to reading in the parlor. I had to think hard to come up with something.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The owners were like visiting friends. They love their home and love sharing it. We got a tour of the house with the history of the house and the original owner. They thought of everything for our convenience....water, soda, wine, snacks, temperature. There was reading material, water by the bed and a bed warmer. They had list of restaurants and knew about each one. Great place worth going to North Augusta just to stay there!
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The warm welcome from Diana and Kelly set the tone for our stay. We were given a tour relating the history of their beautiful home on arrival. It is sumptuous in its luxury and Diana and Kelly are the perfect hosts. Whenever they spoke to us they addressed us by our names which was a lovely touch. In fact we felt like house guests rather than clients. The breakfasts are delicious, and we enjoyed the company of fellow guests as we all sat together at the large dining table. We hired bikes from our hosts and had a great ride on a long trail through the park. I recommend anyone able to ride does just this. The restaurant recommendations given were excellent too. We haven’t finished our stay in South Carolina yet but I’m confident in saying this will be the highlight. You are missing a treat if you don’t stay here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful historical mansion! Hosts went above and beyond, lots of amenities. I would highly recommend. Breakfast was creative and delicious.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the greeting and the tour of the Inn. The Innkeepers were awesome. They love what they do. Every detail was taken care of. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the beautiful historic surroundings. We think our room had the best view in the Inn. We slept like babies and then enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Easy access and so close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We will return!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is fantastic!!! Very friendly hosts and a great breakfast! Comfy bed as well.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Diana and Kelly were exceptional!!! Friendly, helpful with an AMAZING B&B. It reminded me of Tara from Gone with the Wind. It was wonderful!!

Pros: Beautiful, historic, immaculate, roomy, comfortable, very convenient location, great host!
Cons: Nothing I disliked.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Superb plantation style house full of history
Cons: Breakfast could have been more healthy!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Delightful turn of the century mansion ( over 120 years old). Lindsay took us on a tour of all the rooms and explained about all the architecture and furnishings. Very informative! John, the manager, arranged for us to have a special TV brought into the men's parlor to watch championship NFL football games on Jan 20. Don't worry, the women were watching the game in there too! I really appreciated his caring about our interests. Lindsay also was very helpful with dinner suggestions, although we found our own ( mentioned in the booklet left in each room) . The Boll Weevil down by the Riverwalk over on the Georgia side. Visited Redcliffe Plantation State Park ( and plantation house), about 10 miles away the next morning and Augusta Historical Museum before we checked in on Saturday. Both worthy of visits. Great visit and we loved the Lookaway Inn. A special place not to be missed.
Cons: Would have liked a little more breakfast. I realized it was continental, but some ham, cheese, and rolls would have been nice. ( as they serve in Europe). A little more protein would have been better. But there is a Waffle House about 1/2 miles away so we stopped there for lunch before the 2 hours trip back to Atlanta.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay could not have been nicer! John, our host, was as welcoming as we have experienced at a B&B - he made us feel welcomed and at home. The historic lodging was wonderful.
Cons: We had the feeling we were guests in a family mansion - just right for our anniversary.

Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful, even remembering my name the next day - very impressive. The room was clean and everything felt updated. My husband is never a fan of the "included breakfast" - we ate there both mornings! It was well balanced with a variety of options. The location couldn't have been any better. Right in the middle of everything - gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores.
Cons: I told my husband that the only thing missing that I would've like to have seen was a hot tub in the pool area, but that is not a necessity; just would've been the "cherry on top".

Pros: When we checked in, Anita automatically upgraded us not only to a riverside view, but a room on the very corner of the 8th floor. We had beautiful views from two sides, which made our weekend all the more enjoyable.

Pros: The view from our room was fantastic. Updated furnishings were comfortable.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel near lots of amenities.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast in the main dining room restaurant was very good. A wide selection on the menu. The waffles were especially delicious freshly prepared but the chef needed an assistant. We were a group of 12 and he tried to please us all but really needed an extra hand.
Cons: No gift shop in the hotel with Georgia souvenirs was a real bummer. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa for three people.. there were 2 water glasses in the room that accommodates 6 and the same for the coffee mugs. We had to call At Your Service 2 times to get glasses and an extra coffee mug due to a shortage of staff. NO GRAB BARS IN THE BATHTUB. A REAL NO NO for safety. The lack of towel racks to hang used towels so we can save the environment! What was your designer thinking about??? Finally the bathroom door does not provide the needed privacy and personal space, it lacks sound barrier comfort for users or other occupants in the suite/room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was Outstanding. Overall Amenities were great. Room cleanliness left a bit to be desired.
Cons: Room cleanliness, dust and debris in corners
7.9 Good
Pros: Great nearby restaurant and views. Very pretty room. Super comfortable bed.
Cons: The noise from our neighbors running in the halls and talking was very loud. There's a gap under the room door so we had to stuff towels in front of it to muffle the sound some. That was very annoying. The bathroom floor was not very clean and there were no bags in any of the trash cans.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: We needed a pillow option that was not feather. It would be convenient for Star Bucks to stay open later on Saturday.

Pros: Free shuttle to area restaurants, roof top open air bar (night time only), free valet parking. Beautiful overall. Great staff, particularly the valet staff that seems to do everything!
Cons: Had to call for someone to look at my refrigerator (I had put food in it) which wasn't cooling. Someone came quickly (but I had already dressed for bed) and after looking at a lot of possible causes, finally found it was not plugged in! Also, bath tub is dangerous - no bars to assist entry and very slippery. I found this really a concern.
