Car Rental

Passengers can rent a car from an on-site or off-site car rental company. Currently, six car rental companies operate on-site: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, L and M, and National. Fifteen car rental companies serve the airport off-site such as Enterprise, Hertz, Advantage, and Thrifty. Courtesy shuttles transfer passengers to off-site rental car locations.

Public/Ground Transfer

Airline passengers who need transportation can access public buses on the A side of the Main Terminal on the ground transportation level. Buses travel to various locations within the vicinity, which include Downtown Orlando, International Drive, and Apopka. Buses are also available to take guests to residential communities, business districts, and shopping centers. Bus fare is $1.50 per person.

Airport Shuttles

Free airport shuttles depart the Main Terminal every five minutes and transfer guests to and from the satellite parking lot and off-site car rental facilities. Airline passengers may also arrange for private/group shuttle service or hotel courtesy shuttle. Shuttles charge a per passenger fee. Popular destinations include Downtown Orlando, International Drive, Walt Disney World, and Kissimmee.

Limousine Services

Various limousine services are readily available to transport passengers to and from Orlando International Airport. Limo companies authorized to operate at the airport include Extreme Limousine, M & L Limousines, and Taurus Limousine. Limo companies normally require advance reservations, and the majority of limo services charge an hourly rate.

Taxi Services

Taxis available at Orlando International Airport include five-passenger vehicles and vans that can accommodate up to nine passengers. Taxicab service is located on the A and B side of the Main Terminal on the ground transportation level. Five taxicab companies operate regularly at the airport: Ace Metro, Diamond Cab, Star Taxi, Town and Country, and Yellow Cab.
