Most of the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, some were really excellent and went out of their way to help.
The hotel does not live up to its 5 star billing and the price of the rooms. The decor throughout the hotel is dated and needs modernising, and the rooms are not even close to what I would consider 5 star - the beds in particular are sub-standard. After 4 nights I had a sore back and I never have back problems. Also the shower was worse than my shower at home. Sure, the bath and pool complex is elaborate and obviously takes a lot of money to build and maintain, but this should be an added bonus at a hotel, not the main event - take the fact that the pools were largely deserted as evidence that most of the guests were off doing other things.
