This is definitely the place to stay if you like being pampered because everyone on the staff definitely went out of their way to meet all our needs. My only problem was the beach, which unfortunately is the main reason you go to the Bahamas. The winds were so strong and the ocean current so strong that they had the red flag up every day we were there and we could not go in the water at all. We did have use of the beautiful pool, but let's face it, you can go to any hotel and use a pool. Anyway, this was very disappointing and would probably prevent me from returning. ... more

We were concerned after looking at some reviews but were happily surprised. From the minute we stepped out of the taxi we were treated as valued guests. The Beach Tower rooms were cheery and comfortable. We received a call with our first 20 minutes making sure a light bulb was replaced and the air conditioning was working. The room did smell a bit musty when we entered ....because the carpets had been cleaned. No smell the rest of the stay. We never felt the need to upgrade as others have stated. We do suggest paying extra for the ocean view rooms--we peeked across the hall during cleaning time and it was spectacular! We did see fireworks off of our balcony though one night. The newletter that tells days events also had 20 or 30% off coupons to use in spa which was lovely. We had a wonderful time. Staff was great and always asking if we were enjoying ourselves. Gratuities are included or added to everything and it was nice to not have to wonder about tipping--this includes the bell service and maid service.

The only complaint would be the high cost of food, but we brought lots of snack bars so we would buy less and it worked great. Starbucks in Coral Towers has sandwiches and fruit bowls and there is a Quiznos in Marina Village. We knew the cost was high due to importing. I suggest booking animal encounters before you go. Because of this we DID get to swim with dolphins. We DID NOT get to play with sea lion because it was full when we tried to book at desk. There is a free movie theater that plays just released movies (DVD) and they stopped during NCAA play offs and showed those instead. I can see how that made some happy, but our group was not interested in it and we did enjoy going to the theater at night. We had trouble in swimming in ocean due to rough surf. No one's fault, just nature. We read pools closed at 5pm but not correct--they were open until 7pm--beach as well.

The variety of things available to resorters. Important to note about the Beach Tower, it's a bit of a hike from the activities.

I did not like the smell from the jet skies. Also, not a huge fan of the ship passengers coming in for the day.

The resort (as a whole) is gargantuan. Despite this fact, the way it's designed and maintained makes it's size interesting and fun. This resort has something for everyone. Admittedly, the costs are outrageously high, so this is NOT the place to go for frugal-minded people. This 100%, is for splurging and treating yourself with no mind to cost. The option of being able to go to the beach, or go to a pool with an 80's vibe, or a pool with a contemporary vibe, or a waterslide, or a pool with a relaxed, adult vibe, etc...is awesome. The spa is amazing. If you order a spa service, you are able to take advantage of the spa for the entire day. My favorite things about Atlantis are: the weather, the variet... ... more

The location was very good. The beach was very nice and the view was excellent. Also, a lot of effort was put into the food and overall it was very good with a lot of variety. Initially we were not too keen on the buffet, but were converted!

Having to get up and make reservations for a 'special' dining room between 8-9am. For people who like to sleep in on vacation this was a bit irritating, but not terrible.

In general the hotel was very good. The staff was very nice. The drinks and food were better than expected. ... more

Location

The staff were friendly but not very informative about surrounding area, whether or not we can visit other resorts (atlantis) or about heading to downtown.

Only one pool, 5 restaurants, only one is open for lunch, one is open for breakfast and three you must make reservations for at dinner so not many options. The dinner reservations must be made btwn 8am and 9am which is fine but we were told the reservations for dinner were to be made the day of and later find out that we can reserve up to two days in advance. Which was disappointing. Other than that the staff were nice and friendly and always try to keep you drunk haha. ... more

There was some mold on the grout in the shower, there were several areas of damage to the 'rock' around the pools. Music played too loudly at the pool, so that I couldn't use my iPod with ear buds. Room was clean, but didn't like the extra charges: $22/day for internet, $50 for gym access for 7 days. Food was expensive - $100 for one for a meal of pasta fagole, a caprese salad, and squash stuffed ravioli with figs, and a single glass of wine. Staff was friendly and helpful, nightly movies were timely and appreciated. ... more

The hotel had staff at each door requesting to see room keys in order to keep non guests out and I enjoyed the pools and water activities included. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

the coral towers is an older hotel and is showing signs of wear. the sliding doors to balcony were very hard to open, some of the tile in the bathroom had been replaced with very poor craftmanship and the room needed some drywall repairs.

Overall this hotel has a very well trained staff and they are willing to assist any way possible. The room I had was clean, but could use some craftmanship repairing the sliding doors going to balcony, repairing some bubbles in the drywall, and the grout on repaired bathroom tiles. Overall it was about what I had expected for the price. I am dissapointed in the automatic taxes per person. The hotel charges a tax per person to clean the room daily and 15% gratuity is automatically charged on any food purchase. The automatic grat... ... more

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
