Pros (+) I stayed in the Hotel De Nice on my first visit to Paris with my husband. I was set on staying in the Marais district, but wanted to stick to my budget. The Hotel De Nice was a perfect compromise. It has a chic French boutique feel without breaking the budget. The room was small, but completely suited our needs. We weren't inside much anyway!
Cons (-) Please be aware that the breakfast they serve in the morning is 10 euros a person. You can spend less than that at the crepe place next door.

Pros (+) Beautiful room and facilities. Nice balcony on the Annex overlooking a great restaurant. Nice private courtyard accesses rooms in Annex (which is cheaper than main hotel). Very near the walled ancient city center.
Cons (-) Rooms are right along a narrow street with traffic noise most of the night.
