Pros:The car was in good condition. It rode well. It was clean.
Cons:I chose this agency as I thought from the description it was in the airport terminal and pick up would be faster. It is not in the terminal. My wait for a shuttle was 50 minutes. This include 5 shuttles driving past me, and thus not knowing if I would ever be picked up. When I was picked up, the shuttle was crammed. Person on crutches and parents with baby in stroller not accommodated. Once at the agency, the line was out the door. There was no way to know where the end of the line was, as so many people with luggage waiting for their family in line. Also, two agencies shared one building. From the outside, there was no way to know if the line was for one, or both agencies together. I asked 4 people where the line was, and if I was in the right line. After 30 minutes, another Shuttle Driver said anyone in line for Payless (me), who was outside, was in the wrong line. She helped me move through the crowd of luggage. Once in the correct line, there was only one staff person for a line of 7 (after however many passed through while I was outside). Somehow, it was taking an extraordinary amount of time to process each individual, given everyone had a reservation and it should've only been minutes. It was at least an hour at the agency waiting in line. Except for the one shuttle driver who came to my aid, no staff apologized, or did anything to speed the process, or to direct people in line. I have a back injury, but had to stand for 2 hours, waiting for the shuttle, and then for an agent. After my experience, I checked Yelp reviews, which were mostly along the "terrible / never again" line. As with those reviewers, I agree that even one star is too high, but is required by the review software. This experience stole several hours from my vacation.

Cons:Everything. The shuttle from the airport arrived closer to every 20mins, and there was no help from the driver with bags. The line at the office was slow, with not enough staff, and I was given someone else's paperwork - only to learn that upon returning the vehicle. The vehicle was not clean - but neither were the three others I checked. Upon returning the car and learning someone else's name was on my paperwork, I would have had to wait in a line of 20 people with 1 service agent available, so I left. For the $5 I saved renting with Payless, I paid tenfold in loss of time, quality of service and hassle. I will never rent from these guys again.

Pros:The car and the price
Cons:Customer service was terrible. Was next in line for more than 30 minutes with a reservation while the party ahead of me had no reservation and and no pin for their credit card. Spent the time with credit card company trying to get a pin. Only one agent during this period. When second agent showed up he waited 5 minutes before calling me to the desk. He then spent the next 15 minutes trying to talk me into an upgrade,added insurance etc. The total experience cost me an hour of my time. Not impressed!!

Cons:We waited at LAX for the Payless/Fox shuttle for over 30 minutes while all the other rent-a-car companies had shuttles passing by every 4 to 6 minutes, National passed us 12 times in the half hour! When it finally can it was a small van crammed with people. Then at the rental office the lines were very long. All told, it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get a shuttle and leave with a car. Terribly understaffed; you get what you pay for.

Cons:Had to wait nearly an hour in line. Only 2 people working and it was Spring Break.

Pros:The car was clean and I got unlimited miles.
Cons:It took over an hour to recieve and return the car. The service is extremely slow. The advertising is misleading. Economy cars do not have car chargers for cell phones.

Pros:Willie at the Return facility. Very professional and helpful.
Cons:Everything else. Car was dirty and basics were neglected such as cleaning the inside (windows, etc.) or event the outside.

Cons:Pickup was really slow (we waited for over 40 minutes) and sometimes there is a long time in between shuttles.
