Pros:Zero
Cons:There was no car available even though our name was confirmed and on their printout list. We then needed to search and find another car from Thrifty for $500 more for the week (twice as much). We were told by others that "Payless never has minivans" . We feel we should have the difference refunded. Otherwise, what's the point of making the reservation in the first place?
Pros:Ease of booking via priceline and the seemingly good price
Cons:Once at PVR, the taxes, fees, and "required" insurance coverage nearly tripled the cost of the car rental. Plus, we had to wait 1 hour for the shuttle to Enterprise, after being told that a car wasn't available via Budget (the rental company confirmed by Payless).

Cons:We made a rental reservation online prior to arriving in Mexico. The rental rate was very, very inexpensive, but we figured that was because the region didn't have many renters. When we arrived at the rental facility after 6 hours of travel, burdened with our luggage, we were told that there was an additional $38/day rental cost to cover liability insurance. The fact that I have individual auto insurance and rental insurance through my credit card company didn't matter. What a complete and total ripoff. Because the car wasn't absolutely essential, we ended up calling a taxi and paying 1/3 of what we would have paid for the rental. When I make a booking that tells me all taxes and fees are included, I expect that to be true when I arrive to pick up my vehicle.

Cons:The reservation was for a different vehicle than I reserved with Kayak. They blamed it on Kayak and charged me extra for the SUV I had reserved with Kayak.
Pros:Nothing, they are awful!
Cons:They do not honor the price given. They ask that you pay $100 more a day on top of what they quoted you. They were rude and very unpleasant. I ended up going somewhere else. I do not recommend this place. I think Kayak should stop working with them. This was very disappointing. It makes me question booking anything else with Kayak.
Pros:Battery died rented for a certain price. Asked for an extention and gave us a triple raise on price. Very dissappointed.
Cons:should keep the same price deal as you rented and when asked for an extention, keep the same price as promised.

Cons:Reservation was made for an SUV to fit 4 people plus golf gear. Upon arrival, they did not have an SUV available so offered us a Jetta. They also don't include mandatory insurance in their quote (doubled the price of the rental). As we could not fit all the people + gear in the Jetta, 2 people had to take a taxi to our destination. +80$. The office was not open early enough before our return flight which again meant another 2 taxi's from punta mita to PVR. The (child?) manager Jaime was openly rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to compromise despite us paying out of pocket for three 40 minute taxis due to their screw ups. He even told us that the taxi we booked through the 4 seasons was "not a real taxi" then suddenly he went back to not being able to speak english. Huge waste of time and money on our vacation. Could not urge you to look elsewhere strongly enough.
Cons:the car was advertised at $1 a day but they insisted on this liability insurance that I already have with my own insurance and through amex so the car actually cost $46.00 a day not happy at all !!!

Cons:Car Rental price was cheap at first, then when I walk in they demand that I pay for insurance at $75 per day! They are great at luring you in for a great rate, then BAM added costs. What a dirt bag company!
