Today, PHL, the only major airport to serve the City of Brotherly Love, serves more than 31 million passengers every year. Located about seven miles from downtown Philadelphia, the airport is situated on more than 2,300 acres and consumes more than 2.4 million square feet of building space. There are four runways, seven terminals, 120 boarding gates, and more than 20 airlines that call the airport home:

There are seven terminals at Philadelphia International Airport: A, B, C, D, E, and F. Terminal A is actually two terminals: A-West and A-East. Each terminal features ticketing areas, departure & arrival gates, shops, restaurants, and its own parking garage. There are connectors between the terminals, and there is also a courtesy shuttle to help passengers get between terminals for connecting flights. There is a food court and shopping mall between Terminals B and C. Terminal A-WestTerminal A-West is served by Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa, and US Airways International.
