Built in 1927, the Club Quarters Hotel in Philadelphia is located in the bustling business district across the street from the shops at Liberty Place. Rittenhouse Square is a park surrounded by shops and restaurants, and only two blocks from the hotel. One mile from the hotel is The Liberty Bell and The Pennsylvania Convention Center, Kimmel Performing Arts Center, and the Academy of Natural Sciences are one-half mile from the hotel. Less than two-miles away, the Philadelphia Museum of Art features the steps made famous in the film "Rocky."

There are many little conveniences offered at the hotel that many guests adore such as complimentary newspapers, magazine, and games. Attractive amenities include an Italian steakhouse, fitness room, business center with computers, printers, and scanners and 1,430 square feet of meeting and conference use. Guests can also gain access to the club lounge with complimentary refreshments. Located on the second floor, the hotel lobby is also a retreat with a vaulted skylight and plasma televisions.

The contemporary rooms and suites come in a variety of sizes, but all are equipped with free Wi-Fi, coffeemakers, soft bedding, and desks. Upon request, the hotel provides minifridges and microwaves, however, upgraded rooms feature kitchenettes, plus extra dining and sleeping areas. Apartments are available for extended guests and feature full kitchens, as well as more conveniences. In addition to in-room amenities, the hotel will also deliver fitness and yoga equipment to rooms. Plus, CQ Guest Closets are located on each floor and contain extra amenities that guests can help themselves too.

Cons (-) The room was never cleaned and we spent 3 nights until I complained to the manager. One of the elevators was broken all weekend which left a single elevator for all the guests and staff. The lines for the only working elevator were very long sometimes taking 20 to 30 minutes to be able to return to your room. Very disappointed. Pros (+) Excellent location. Nice lounge/lobby.
Cons (-) We were not given the room we paid for. Instead we were placed in a room with one bed and our son had to sleep on a cot. They refused to adjust our charges. The next night we received a room with a sofa bed, but it had old sheets on it.
