This hotel lies in the historical centre of Port Elizabeth, by the Donkin holiday resort, and offers a wide view over the city and the harbour. Various shops and entertainment venues, such as the opera house or the sports grounds are just a few minutes away. It is some 8 km to Port Elizabeth airport. Built in 1903 and renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises a total of 96 rooms over 3 floors. Facilities include a 24-hour reception desk, lifts, bars, a restaurant, conference rooms and a newspaper kiosk. The room and laundry services may be taken advantage of as well as the Internet access. Parking facilities are also available. The spacious, tastefully furnished rooms are all carpeted and include an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, satellite/ cable TV, a direct dial telephone, a radio and a minibar. Guests are offered a hearty breakfast each morning. All meals are available in a buffet form; lunch is also served from the set menu.
