It was very cold in the room. Heating was not working, regardless of the fact that we twice noted that in the reception and they promissed that they will fix it.
Stayed for 1 wk skiiing 3/2010. thoroughly impressed w/ staff, food. Very helpful people, made calls & arrangements for us, shuttled us beyond the shuttle's posted availability & purpose. Amazing spa area, most of it free! Fairly easy access to entire Val di Fassa ski area, & can ski/skibus into tons of other resorts for something like 1200km of ski runs available (fassa.com), unbelievably scenic skiing...Dolomites are out of this world... Not just your average hotel restaurant-- the maitre'd, Ciro, takes his job very seriously, and bends over backward. Feels close to white-glove service in the states. Excellent food. Balcony room was lovely, ski equip room w/ boot dryer, just can't say enough positive. Will return--no need to shop around
Like other european hotels, put two single beds together to be a double; no true American king/queen bed avail... But could not really tell. Worked well. Not sure what they use to hold them together & fill in the seam/gap, but we noticed it less here than at Starhotels in Rome, Venice, & Michelangelo in Florence.
Bad contion of heating! Cold room.
Nice rooms, good spa.
Dinner is not good
