Set in the heart of the town, close to the national museum of the Magna Graecia, the hotel presents itself as the ideal base to explore this wonderful, historic area.
Set in Reggio Calabria, the largest and the oldest city in Calabria, the city dates back to the 8th century BC and houses an array of historical sites and monuments, including the Aragonese Castle, the Church of the Optimates and the cathedral.
Lido railway station is very close, allowing easy access around the city and to the surrounding areas. The port is also nearby, so you can catch a boat to Sicily, Eolie isles and Malta.
close to harbour
not enough info from desk re bus numbers, timetables of museums etc
the rooms were spacious and it was within walking distance to the station and ferry
the shower wasn't attached to the wall and wobbled when being used. It also took some time for the hot water to come through. The receptionist did't seem to know much English and couldn't give specific directions on where to find things in town.
The room was very roomy with a large bathroom and clean. The staff were very helpful.
No internet access. Not in a very nice area.
convenient to the port in Reggio Calabria
the staff spoke no English
The room itself was great
