Pros:We have been here several times. Twice we've brought family members along. Everyone enjoys this place, young and old. A very comfortable lodge with spectacular views and a friendly, service-minded staff and excellent food. With an indoor pool and both alpine skiing facilities and cross-country skiing available right outside the door. Gaustatoppen is beautiful at every time of year, and is challenging enough for those who like to hike and climb. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. There is always plenty of fresh mountain air here as well, since it lies 1000 meters over sea level. This is a family-friendly place with plenty to do for children of all ages. Three generations of our family were gathered there on our last visit, from 17 months old to 70 years old, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
