Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly.
Descent 3 star hotel experience. Breakfast was nice.
That old 'musty' smell, older rooms, etc.
Nice new clean property. Has a bar and restaurant on premises. Also close to many great restaurants!
Business center needs work. Hardware and software is difficult to use. The staff put me in a disabled room. Taking a shower in a small open space is difficult.
staff was awsome
Very nice complimentary breakfast.
Wifi was a bit weak in the rooms.
Clean and well appointed. Staff were professional and efficient. Hotel is about one block off interestate which means easy access without the interstate noise - big plus.
Rooms are nice and beds are very comfortable. Hotel is close to many great restaurants, shopping, entertainment and freeways.
Only thing I can think of was that the TV would not turn on because it was unplugged.
my overall experience was amazing ! !
Room was nice / clean
No one was attending to the breakfast areaHotel is not easy to see from freeway
The location, right behind probably the best restaurant in Round Rock, Jack Allen's, is a big plus.
The parking seems to be a problem, there just isn't enough of it.
The great location.
I liked the location general atmosphere of quietness.
Other than the initial greeting of staff at reception area, during a 4 day stay only one other occassion when coming or going were we greeted in any way.
It was nice, clean and well lit. There was plenty of parking as well. Lastly, the room was great for the star level.
The fire alarm went off each night that I was there. I was told the first night it was a kid playing with the system.
Cleanliness. Modern décor. Wide open lobby. In house café and bar. Well maintained overall.
Staff distracted during my check in. Two male attendents at check in were more interested in their affairs than providing attentive check in for me. My stated preference was ignored. I needed to call attention to clerk. Preference was then honored.
The location is close to I-35 and in Round Rock, great for me. This is the key selling point to this hotel. The staff have always been great, but the newness has worn off and it is starting to show some signs of neglect.
I was in room 415. The bed is horrible, it is sunk to the floor and the mattress feels like sleeping on a trampoline that is six inches from the floor. The rooms space heater did not produce heat, I called the front desk and they sent two small heaters.
Decent for the price: got a suite with a fridge for a pittance. Staff was friendly, amenities and room were clean. Despite my gripes below, not bad for a half of a Benjamin per night - but I also wouldn't say it's a 3 star hotel.
Thin walls; could hear every detail of someone's carnal embrace in the next room. Breakfast was underwhelming (watery eggs, some mystery meat). Wifi was utterly terrible. If you're on business, don't count on it working.
The hotel itself was convenient, breakfast was good & the amenities were excellent.
The front desk staff was less than satisfactory. I called ahead to inquire about check in times... From the phone call to the actual check in, the staff acted as of they were being bothered to do anything. None were rude just no customer service.
i loved the room.
the front desk clerk was very rude to my entire family, children too. the day manager was just as rude. the night manager heard us out and said he would talk to (Hotel employee). the next morning, (Hotel employee) seemed okay but probable hated to smile a
The manager took care of some issues I had with two rooms and went out her way to make up for them .
Coldest night of the year and the heater quit Brrrrrr ..
Service and employees are great
Has stale smell, rooms re beat up.
Nice newish motel.
Was given a handicap room that was very noisy and dark.
Clean, comfortable rooms.
People above me stomping around late at night. Whatever was sprayed on my windshield (fertilizer?) while parked at the hotel overnight that is not coming off easily.
Good location, always clean
The bed in my room should be thrown out. It was the worst broken bed I have seen in a LONG time. It looks like a 300 pound guy used it for a trampoline. I always liked this hotel until I got this room. This bed was junk.
Toilet had old blood, holes in the comforters and carpet looked ware out.
I was assigned a handicapped/wheelchair accessible room. The shower area was always a mess due to poor design resulting in leakage of water all over the bathroom. Otherwise the room was just fine.
It was in a good location
The front desk staff were rude! Had a indoor pool but wasn't heated so it was freezing. They didn't have a resturant like most 3 stars!
I was in an ADA room, which would typically be fine, but the shower was a nightmare and left the entire bathroom soaked. It was hot, dark, and under the porte-cochère so if I opened the window everyone coming and leaving would see in. Broken treadmill.
Newer hotel with clean room.
I try to check in and found the front desk was vacant. No manager or staff to check me in for 12-15 minutes. Waiter came by twice to apologize for the absent of front desk manager. Phone at front desk kept ringing continuously during my wait.
The lady at the restaurant who served us breakfast was very helpful.
We had bedbugs, our luggage was moved when we left the hotel without our consent just so they could book that room for someone else. Then the new room had a big roach .
Poorly managed. Lobby disorderly. Floor mats entering and exiting elevator were messed up and ready to trip somebody. An elderly or disabled person will hurt themselves. Looked at buffet before they seated me and it was out of food. Skipped that.
Convenient location and relatively new construction.
Toilet did not flush well consistently. The sink was inset too deeply into the countertop making it difficult to use and always resulting in getting clothes wet. Food service was only average at best and iced tea was unavailable at breakfast.
Due to illness I had to extend my stay a day. Got price-gouged and annoyed by housekeeping 3 times.
The staff (front desk and waitress) were extremely friendly!
GO OUT TO EAT! The food was horrible. I had a steak and asked for medium rare but I received it well done (over well) and couldn't cut it. If I am going to pay $17 for a steak and salad I would expect better quality than what I had. Drinks also over$$
convenient location. great selection of local spirits in the bar.
Received a room reserved for the handicapped next to the elevators. I'm not handicapped.
too noisy. footstep from above kept waking me up whole night.
Staff...being a Priceline customer they did not respect customers...rude staff
Location is great. Lots of food choices near by-which is good cause their in-house resturant isn't the best. Rooms were spacious had micro & refrig
Tried to order room service on Sunday at 815pm-menu stated they closed at 10pm-when I called it took me 3 attempts to get in touch with someone only to be told they closed the grill at 8pm
Too much noise. The noise from room to room and floor to floor is very disruptive. The house cleaning staff start with the banging/clanging and run their very loud vacums at 7am and consequently no one gets any sleep after 7am. Too noisy.
Location and new and clean
Very plan on the inside. Not lush or warm.
The room was nice and clean, bed very comfortable.
The wifi never worked and staff did not try to correct the internet issue. No complimentary breakfast.
The breakfast! It was excellent as was Lourdes, the waitress. She was cordial and attentive.
Reservation was for kingsize bed & rec'd 2 double beds; Air was @ full blast when we chkd in; very long time to get cold water; we chkd in late. my husband had to fix toilet 4) the sink was built too far in and too much counterspace in front of sink
The bed was very comfortable
There was an unacceptable pounding from the room above most of the night and I had a terrible night's sleep. I called the front desk and they did nothing about it.
I requested adjoining rooms due to my mother having alzheimers/dementia they could not even put us on the same floor. When I got in my room someone had already been there, all trash cans were full, shower, soap, towels had been used.
The room was filthy, and the staff very rude.
My hair straightener disappeared from our room, after arguing with front desk because she would not get a manager to resolve the matter finally was able to speak with housekeeping manager. They assured me that none of their staff had taken it she suggested for us to go up to the room to make sure we had not missed it because as she put it ' 99 percent of the missing items end up in the room' , well after looking all over they made us empty out bags and to my and my husbands shock there it was in my husbands bag, keep in mind he had just packed his bag that morning right before checking out! Furious I decided to leave at that glad I was able to recover my straightener. Will never go back to that hotel!!!!
This hotel was horrible, the staff was unprofessional, the room fair and the pool was NASTY (which was the only reason we went to this one - indoor pool).
GROSS GROSS GROSS, DO NOT GO HERE
It was not decorated as a normal Holiday would be. It was very mismatched and seemed unkept. Someone was smoking on our floor and we could not get our money back since we couldn't stay. Poor management.
The rooms were nice & it was clean.
We ate in the grill & have never been so dissatisfied. The food was poor quality, the waitress was so tied up talking to another employee we couldn't even get her attention to get refills. We had to ask the front desk to get our check when we were ready
Bed was very comfortable. Bartender arranged for me to bring a plate and silverware to my room to eat leftovers I had in to go container that would not work in a microwave. Jamylah offered a free drink and breakfast for all my inconveniences.
From the second I arrived! The rude and fake desk man may have been accurate in the King bed room I called after booking on priceline to request was no longer available. Room smelled of smoke horribly. Rigatoni was not cleaned off the wall..etc..
The staff was very friendly, the room was extremely clean and comfortable and there was a fridge and microwave in the room! Perfect. No doubt we will be staying here every time we head to Round Rock.
