The chlorine was very strong.
Clean and friendly staff.
Was suppose to have a king bed room, but ended upgrading to King suite at no cost. Was very impressed.
The room was very nice and the location was excellent. They had a pool and hot tub.
The hot tub had build up on the walls both days we were on site and they ran out of towels the first day for the pool area. The bathroom was a little dirty at check in, and we had a room by the stairs, which became very noisy at times.
Location, low price, friendly staff, very clean.
No full length mirror in the room. Heater was going on every 20 min for 1 minute even though it was off so I unplugged it. Fridge was so cold it froze all my food but the adjustment knob was broken so I couldn't turn it down.
The staff was very fast friendly. Got me right into my room. Recommend a great pizza place and got me a late check out with no problem. The front desk was very helpful. The room was very clean and my stay was great.
Very clean, convenient location, great deal. Friendly staff.
Not all rooms have microwaves. Could use outlet by the bed.
Great customer service
Parking out front fills up fast
Very quick check in, great location. Fridge in the room. Very clean.
The noise from my upstairs neighbor was so loud it was almost unbearable. It would not have been possible to sleep through. I could even hear him using the toilet. I will only stay again if I can get a top floor room.
it was big enough for four adults and 2 children
too much chloride in the pool; it left our eyes red and hurting
Close to shopping and expressway
Small pool & surrounding area
I have used Priceline numerous times in the past for hotel arrangements and have always satisfied. However, this last experience was not a good one, and my problem comes with both Priceline and the hotel we stayed at, Fairfield Inn in Saginaw, MI. As far as the issue with Priceline, we got to the hotel very late for check in - approximately 1 a.m. The front desk clerk told us that the credit card they were given by Priceline was rejected. I knew for a fact, however, that the charge had gone through my bank account. She then gave me the last four numbers of the credit card given to them by Priceline, and they were not the same numbers of my debit card, which I had used to pay Priceline. I gave her my receipt and she said she still needed my credit card to swipe. I expressed my concerns about being charged again and she told me they just need it for incidentals. The next morning there was a charge forXXX from Fairfield Inn on my card, in addition to the XXX I paid Priceline. I addressed it with the front desk and they said it was a pre-auth and would come off the card. I checked my bank the next day and theXXX was gone, but instead there was a charge forXXX from the hotel. I have spoken twice with the manager at the inn, who said he would credit my account and they have yet to do so. I have now had to file a dispute with my bank to try and have this charge removed. In addition, when we got to the hotel, the pool was shut down for repairs and our TV wasn't working. These issues were taken care of the next day however. I don't know what happened, but this experience has been extremely disappointing and I'm a bit concerned that I'm going to be out of theXXX that the hotel should NOT be charging me.
The hotel was great, the bed wasn't as firm as I had expected. It wasn't until we talked to a local that we discovered you can't walk outside, that street robberies are a common thing. Unfortunately for us, we didn't get to walk as much as normal.
WE were here a week, taking care of family concerns. . I don't sleep well in other places but I definitely did here .. beds were comfortable, people at the desk were helpful and friendly, room was clean. Only one little hitch... we were on the 1st floor and we found our window unlatched when we 1st arrived. My husband locked it and added a little extra precaution a travel window lock . (The area is known to be somewhat risky which we knew.) We were safe coming and going without incident and with the extra little lock in place, I felt fine even when alone in the evening. We walked by the pool daily and it looked very clean and families were enjoying their swim. Our room was just passed that area and there was no noise. Very nice stay.
friendly staff, clean room, quiet location, good for business trip stays
This was a very good experience. The hotel was clean, the room looked newly redone, and the staff was friendly. The hotel was a little hard to find because it is hidden behind another hotel, but it is right by the mall and tons of restaurants.
We always stay in Marriot hotels and generally we stay at Fairfield Inn's this is the worst one we have stayed at. The housekeeping is rude (they will run you and your small children over in the halls with their carts or expect you to hold doors for them to take out trash). Don't plan on getting your 'free' breakfast, we would go down before 9 which is when breakfast is done and everything would be gone or put up...not everyone staying at these hotels is a buisness man who is gone by 6am. So if you are visiting family or on a family trip of somesort this is not a good hotel for that purpose. Next time we visit my Grandmother we will stay at another hotel in Saginaw or the Fairfield in Baycity. When she lived in Bay city that is where we stayed...it rocks. I guess I thought this Fairfield would be as good as that one. \n
This is a great place to stay. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and they provide 5 pillows!! It is located very close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely come back. Great value for the money!
The hotel is great: clean, quiet, good location - especially if you're into shopping! The queen size beds were great - they provide 5 pillows (5!) per bed.
