The rooms were clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice morning breakfast to start the day. Love the cozy and warm ambience. Hope to stay again on a future trip.
I loved the location, and overall appearance of this hotel. The staff was awesome. I enjoyed the tea, and coffee, and continental breakfast.
The beds had plastic liners which were noisy when rolling over or changing positions.
The staff was very helpful
coziness in the hotel, fireplace on, 4 pm sherry time
Very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely stunning building and furniture. Free coffee and tea all day long in the lounge.
(Based on the reviews on booking.com) I expected an extensive quality breakfast. It was very mediocre; just self service bagels, cereals and coffee that were not restocked. I can't recommend sleeping next to the elevator, its very noisy.
The bathroom room was shabby. The white undercurtains in the bedroom should be washed. The shower curtain is tattered and old. Buy a new one with stainless steel rings. The decor of the entire hotel is too Victorian. Some Victorian is fine, but this was over the top. The ambiance has a stale, dark feel.
Queen Anne was very quaint, unique, very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting downstairs in the evening in front of the fireplace. Our room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Only a few blocks to walk to the cable car line. Very accessible and safe to walk at night
the decor, atmosphere, and ghost tour of pacific heights: the last was full of interesting historical anecdotes.
