Pros:Hotel was clean,,, quiet ,,, and large windows !
Pros:Location close to beach.
Cons:The place was filthy, smelled of curry, many lights and tv did not work properly, I hat to unplug the tv to turn it off. The telephone in the room and the hair dryer didn't work. Next to a hipster coffee shop where many homeless types hang out, blacking the driveway. It took several minutes to get anyone to come to the front desk and help us. The price jumped from the advertised rate of $98 dollars to $149. Do not book here under any circumstances.
Pros:Hotels in San Fran are expensive, this one is clean and relatively safe. It's ok for the price. I would stay there again.

Pros:Proximity to Golden Gate Park, where I was participating in an event.
Cons:Everything. The parking lot was difficult to navigate. TV didn't work. Phone didn't work. Zero hot water for the showers. When I went to the desk to ask about the water (since I couldn't call), there was no one there. I had to call the general line and he said he would "turn the hot water on". What kind of hotel doesn't leave the boiler on? Avoid this place if you want a pleasant stay!
Pros:The bathroom floor was clean. Toilet was clean. Had new TV.
Cons:Location, no beach view. Terrible parking for cars, not enough spaces & they were small. We had to find our own parking outside the motel. Very small bathroom, mold growing in shower, Water pressure in shower very, very low. The king bed didn't fit in the bed frame, you risked injury with bed frame. We were awakened by the muni-trains that start running at 5:30, and ran every 20 minutes. We had to climb two sets of stairs to get to room, no elevator for handicapped or disabled. Alarm clock & coffee maker not plugged in, & outlets in wall were very difficult to reach. Easily... this was the worst motel I've stayed in that cost more than $100.

Cons:We were first given the keys to a room that was not yet ready and had to go back to the front desk to be reassigned a different room.
Pros:One block from the beach. Nice coffee shops/restaurants close by.
Cons:Room was dirty. Huge stain on carpet. Could have had a white outline of a body around it. Creepy.
