With the Pacific Ocean to one side and the shops and boutiques of San Clemente to the other side, The Volare, an Ascend Hotel Collection Member is a beautiful, yet affordable hotel that has an ideal location very close to Camp Pendleton.

Rooms can be chosen from standard to ocean view with balcony, to two-bedroom suites, to king suites with jacuzzi and a balcony, to two-bedroom suites. There are also accessible rooms available. The décor is simple elegance with comfort. Amenities include air conditioning, coffee makers, hairdryers, LCD TVs, work desks, free WiFi, refrigerators, and microwaves. Pros (+) The location is walking distance to all the shops and food.
Cons (-) The TV would freeze every 15-25 minutes. And the freeway is right outside your window, so it's pretty loud at night.
