Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, which is close to attractions and convenient for exploring the area. However, many were disappointed by ongoing renovations, lack of amenities, cleanliness issues, and frequent problems with the pool being unavailable or dirty. Service was often described as lacking or unresponsive, and several guests noted missing or broken in-room features such as phones, microwaves, and TVs. While some staff members were friendly and helpful, overall service and maintenance fell short of expectations.

Pros (+) Great location.
Cons (-) Beneath the veneer of hip, the place is tired. Cracked sink and tub. Room door handle falling off. Sheets that don't fit the bed. A budget hotel without the budget price.

Pros (+) The location is absolutely great! Within walking distance to everything. Felt stupid for renting a car. We didn't even move it during our stay. Walked everywhere in old town and took an Uber to Camelback Mt. ($15 that way and $6back... strange ) Loved the vibe by the pool and the variety of people. From families with kids, to young adults and also mature couples...everyone was very chill and had a...
Cons (-) They had a wedding one of the days and pool area had to be closed by 4pm. I completely understand it...however, we had to make different plans since we were not aware of it in advance.

Cons (-) Noisy and not comfortable. I was there four nights and when I checked in I requested that a blinking red light in the room be fixed. Still blinking when I checked out

Pros (+) Great pool, great restaurant
Cons (-) Could have been a little cleaner. The maid staff was good. I just mean the hotel in general.

Pros (+) The hotel is minutes from Old Scottsdale, as well as easily accessible from highways and the airport. Very convenient.although
Cons (-) Although we used the elevator to access our room on the 2nd floor, getting our luggage from the car in parking lot to the elevator was not easy due to the few stairs near the parking lot. Anyone with heavy luggage, a stroller or wheelchair would find the stairs a detriment. Suggest ramps replace the stairs.
