Near freeway. Plenty of parking. Well lighted parking lot.
Only one slow elevator. No breakfast.
Great staff. It's got a cool layout, and has a narrow gauge short rail. How many hotels have a train?
The bathroom needed a good deep cleaning.
restaurant didn't open until 7.
easy to get to
Carpets may need to be shampoo because room smelled a little dirty
Loved the great bed and spacious room. The proximity to the now defunct Pea Soup Anderson complex is delightful, with a great landscape and a pond of koi, swans and ducks, and interesting restaurant (still operating under diff name) is great.
Pleasant staff but was not given our free breakfast vouchers for the restaurant by the front desk when we checked in. Wish it was pet friendly.
Very quiet room, no hallway or road noise.
Shower valve in the tub made a loud noise.
It was close to Sequoia and was licated directly off the interstate.
No way this is a hotel at the advertised stars. This deserves a two star rating and nothing more. Rooms outdated, not remodeled as stated, hallways trashy, carpets stained, etc.
Stayed here many times and it has always worked out well for us. No dissapointments at all.
it is Selma...
Very friendly and helpful staff, we will definitely be back.
Decorations and furniture are a bit dated and worn. But for the price and quality of the hotel, I'm not going to stop visiting Selma.
The staff at this hotel were amazing!
The rooms are very outdated and old fashioned.
It is not a representative of a Holiday Inn hotel.
Beds and pillows were every comfortable. friendly staff.
The sliding door for the bathroom door. Never could get it to lock and the kids thought it was fun to play with it. Would have liked free breakfast.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean.
The desk chair wheels didn't work. The desk (and chair) placed in between the bed and bathroom (stubbed toes). I dont sleep well so asked (nicely) for a quiet room. She put me in the room closest to the freeway. Room was loud, would shake when trucks pass
Location, easy off and on freeway
Rooms were dirty, carpets was filthy! Need major remodel.
Nice, clean Close to where we needed to be.
Did not clean the room after we left. Left after 12pm returned about 11pm and was not cleaned.
My husband and I are not world travelers, but I must say that everyone here was very professional. The maids were exceptional in their details and so helpful and courteous. Noise was a factor in the evening with at least ten children screaming in the pool after dark. However, the adjoining steak restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Our dinner party waited more than an hour to get our food and two of the meals were inedible. The waitress however was great that evening. The following day I was forgotten at the patio bar by the cocktail waitress and had to go inside myself to ask for my drink again. I wished we had known the area better so as to get a better meal and service.
A unique and interesting place to stay. Nice clean hotel with modern furnishings and all the amenities. The adjacent Spike & Rail restaurant was excellent! The court yard with large fountain, two waterfalls & live swans was very cool. Had a small guage rail road at the edge of the property, though I did not see the actual train or cars while there. The only down side to this location was the noise from the freeway while outside, which I could not notice once inside the hotel or restaurant. I'll stay at this hotel my next visit
Overall a very pleasant stay. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, close to restaurants.
Great accommodations! The beds were comfortable, the service was great and the pool and hot tub area was very nice. The only change I would make would be to offer coffee in the lobby on weekends. It's only there Mon.- Fri. Proximaty to National Parks was within an hour's drive.
Clean & quiet. Close to freeway and services.
We loved our stay. Room was really clean. Staff efficient, courteous, friendly and funny. Beds comfortable and my daughter loved the soap! Would stay agin in a heart beat!
