There is a national chain of hotels called 'Budget Inn' - this is NOT one of them. If you're not interested in 'up to date' rooms, if safety is not a concern, and if you're cheap, this is the hotel for you. I'm sure it was a wonderful place to stay in the early 60's (as the fixtures suggested). The only 3 prong plug in the room was being used by the air-conditioner. The room smelled like 6 week old dead cat - a sorta rotten musky stench that got into my clothes and I could smell when I got home - even AFTER I left 'Budget Inn' and rented another room down the road. Apparently they rent the rooms next to the 'hotel' as apartments and the tenets were not the kind of folks that made you feel comfortable when you pulled into the parking lot. I asked if the pool was open and the manager stated, 'The maintenance man is off today, but it is clean.' Yeah, no, it was GREEN. Seriously, this is not the place to stay if you want cleanliness, comfort, and peace of mind. ... more

Clean rooms, nice beds

Front desk needed to be manned better. Noisy neighbors. Slow elevator.

One of the nicer Selma-area hotels. Comfortable stay. Good experience overall. If you need to stay in Selma, this is probably the way to go--especially with some of the Priceline deals that are accepted. ... more

Hotel did have a good initial presentation before going in and really getting settled.

My number 1 complaint is that the pillows were terrible...couldn't really sleep. Cobwebs in shower so old they were brown, coffee machine wasn't cleaned, hole in fitted sheet.

I can't say I was happy with this one. While at first glance the room looked quite accommodating, I found a lot of things I didn't like as the night went on. I found the sleep highly uncomfortable, mainly due to the pillows. Anyone coming to this hotel should definitely bring their own pillow in order to sleep well. On top of that there were just several areas that were obviously not cleaned or over looked. From cobwebs hanging in the shower that were old enough to be brown, to the smell of burned coffee from the moment I turned the machine on, there needed to be more attention to the details of the place. Staff was gloomy, but handled business quickly. Breakfast was miserable, proba... ... more

when I arrived to check in my reservation wasn't even in the computer and if I hadn't printed off my receipt where I had prepaid and took it with us i'm afraid we wouldn't got our room.

THE ROOM HAD A VERY NASTY SMELL TO IT AND IT WASN'T THE CLEANEST IT SHOULD OF BEEN FOR THE PRICE. WE WERE TOLD IN THE RESERVATIONS THAT THE ROOM CAME WITH FREE BREAKFAST, BUT WE DID'NT RECEIVE ANY. THE BATHROOM WAS SO SMALL THAT YOU BARELY HAD ENOUGH ROOM TO TAKE A BATH. ... more

After an 8 hour drive from Dallas, TX for a funeral, we needed to rest. Upon our arrival they couldn't find our paid reservation. The first room we were given was nice, but we had requested smoking. No problem, the change was made quickly to a smoking room. The room was terrible; the bed was poorly made, the pillows were almost non existent and the shower had mold. Yes, I understand that smokin hs been banded in most hotels, but even smoking visitors deserve a modicrum of respect and cleanliness as paying customers. The worst events happened at 10 pm. Approximately 15 -20 individuals were having a party in the parking lot. Managment acted as if this was the normal course of business. We called the front desk to complain, her suggestion was to change our room; not call the police. All of the rooms exit to the parking lot, how was this suppose to help. We checked out without even partial a refund, after four hours. And they tried to double billed us! If yu are going to be in the Selma... ... more

Luxury Inn & Suites
Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
