Shelter Island Heights Hotels The Pridwin Hotel is a unique all-American guest hotel welcoming guests on shelter island since 1927. It is located on a 10 acre site on Crescent Beach. It is a seasonal hotel open from May to the last weekend of June through Labor Day. Local activities include shopping, chartering a fishing boat, and swimming.

Breakfast is included. There is also free parking and a ferry terminal shuttle. Other features are the arcade and game room, porter and bellhop, ticket service, and laundry facilities. Resort amenities include two docks, a private pool, and a tennis club. Guests can use paddle boards, lounge chairs, and kayaks as well as single speed bikes. There is a bar and restaurant that overlooks the water. The fish served is caught locally, and the Wednesday Night Cookouts feature live music.

Guests can stay either in resorts or cottages. Cottage choices include two bedroom cottages with a fireplace, one bedroom cottages with a fireplace, or a studio cottage with a view of the water. There are three floors of rooms available, with a total of 40 rooms. The standard room has air conditioning, daily housekeeping, flat screen TV with remote, telephone, and feather duvet.
