The hotel is an attractive and well designed building within easy walking distance of the older part of the city.
The hotel was let down by its restaurant; a bottle of Tokay was served warm, and when this was pointed out (surely that should itself have been unnecessary), rather than being replaced by a well-chilled bottle the original bottle was put in an ice bucket with a modest amount of ice and napkin, which totally failed to chill the contents adequately. With the exception of the restaurant manager, the restaurant staff seemed unmotivated and were content to leave everything to the restaurant manager who also had to attend to reception duties. If this hotel is to succeed, it must focus on improving its restaurant service.
No lift. We had a triple room, there was one teeth brush in the bathroom and no soap at all.
