Views from the corner room on the 23rd floor were spectacular. I went for business but would love to go back for pleasure.
M
8.0 Very good
Parking way too expensive. Especially for a business event when you have to stay there.
D
8.0 Very good
Overall, the staff and accommodations were very good. Coupled with the proximity to Universal Studios, my family and I enjoyed our stay (the park entrance is a roughly 10 minute walk). Some detractors/considerations for those wanting to stay. -It's in LA, so you're subject to the COVID policies of the county. Having to show papers each morning or wear a wristband indicating that I and my family were vaccinated just to eat or use the gym was overkill and, franky, just felt wrong. -Parking is $30/day ($45/day for valet). I know it's LA, but if you're paying to stay at the hotel, parking should be included. -The restaurant food was solid and the buffet very good. That said, even with a meal credit for being a Diamond Member, the food was pricey for a family of four (for example, the breakfast buffet was $30/person for anyone over 12). -Coupled with the previous point, the rooms only have a mini fridge, no microwave. This limits your options for eating if you don't want to pay a hefty price either in the hotel or for something like DoorDash. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would most likely go back. The above points are more to ensure folks make a reservation with eyes wide open.

7.9 Good
Great location, especially if you’re visiting Universal Studios. Convenient parking. Hotel floor plan is a little weird…but it’s well kept, clean, and in good repair. Like everywhere right now, they seemed to be a bit shirt staffed. Getting help at the front desk was slow and inefficient. The restaurant service was slow and menu overpriced (not surprised). I’d stay here again, and would recommend it.
J
9.7 Wonderful
Pros:The location and closeness to Universal, you are within walking distance.
Cons:Pulled in to check in and told valet that you would be right back. The valet took it upon themselves to park car and even manage to change all seat settings, when they should not have moved car.
A
7.4 Good
Pros:Location was great to Universal Park.
Cons:You have to pay $28 a day for parking. The beds were uncomfortable. Some staff seemed bother by our existence.
A
5.1 Fair
Pros:Very convenient to Universal Hollywood
Cons:They were unable to give me my Hilton honors points because I didn’t book through them. They were unable to give me a room near the other family we were with. The pool was closed. And the fee for parking was high, plus our rental didn’t fit in the garage so they charged us an oversized vehicle fee! Definitely overpriced!
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:If you are going to Universal Studios, the location is excellent and they have a shuttle running to and from every 20 minutes.
Cons:If you're going anywhere in the LA area, other than Universal Studios, the location is far and app taxis (Uber, Lyft...) have a hard time finding it because the parking lots and entries between the hotels and Universal Studios are a real maze.
J
9.7 Wonderful
Pros:Closest hotel to Universal Studios. The staff is excellent. The hotel is very nice. The Peet’s Coffee in-site is well planned.
Cons:Was a bit crowded.
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Best place to stay when going to Universal Studios, and I go a lot. There's a free shuttle that takes you to the entrance of City Walk or you can walk there in less than 10 minutes via the pedestrian bridge.
