Location was great to Universal Park.
You have to pay $28 a day for parking. The beds were uncomfortable. Some staff seemed bother by our existence.
Very convenient to Universal Hollywood
They were unable to give me my Hilton honors points because I didn’t book through them. They were unable to give me a room near the other family we were with. The pool was closed. And the fee for parking was high, plus our rental didn’t fit in the garage so they charged us an oversized vehicle fee! Definitely overpriced!
If you are going to Universal Studios, the location is excellent and they have a shuttle running to and from every 20 minutes.
If you're going anywhere in the LA area, other than Universal Studios, the location is far and app taxis (Uber, Lyft...) have a hard time finding it because the parking lots and entries between the hotels and Universal Studios are a real maze.
Most Convenient to Universal Studios
Closest hotel to Universal Studios. The staff is excellent. The hotel is very nice. The Peet’s Coffee in-site is well planned.
Was a bit crowded.
Best place to stay when going to Universal Studios, and I go a lot. There's a free shuttle that takes you to the entrance of City Walk or you can walk there in less than 10 minutes via the pedestrian bridge.
Top of the line accommodations
Everything was perfect
Staff and less than 10 minutes walking distance to Universal studio
Wait for elevator and parking was pricey
The room was spacious...good pillows. Good gym, nice pool.
Two elevators were out (and have been for 3 years!), making trips up and down sometimes very lengthy. You can call the operator each time you go to the elevator asking to be picked up, but how ridiculous for a hotel of this caliber. Restaurant food was boring. All three places to eat at the hotel had the same menu, with tiny differences. The first meal or two it is fine, you can find alternate foods to eat, but after a few days, a change is necessary. It cost $18 for a so-called, all you can eat 'continental breakfast'...yogurt, fruit, cereal, muffins and coffee! This Hilton is near the Universal City Walk, all franchise restaurants so no good food nearby for real foodies...if you like buffets with all you can eat, this is your place.
Walking distance to universal and reasonable droving distance to many LA locations.
Cost of parking.
Old and dirty caroets bathroom collexted water
Staff was great, location to other attractions
The parking garage was pricey considering I paid 200.00 a night should get a discount when staying. The elevators were all not in service. Breakfast was too expensive for a weeks stay. I couldn't find a salon inside for service.
Close to Universal Studios
The outside hallway carpet was greasy and muddy. Even after having them clean it, we continued to bring grease and grime and dirt into our hotel room. Our entry walkway was pretty disgusting because of it.
