Hotel restaurant was not very good and overpriced.
Location was ideal for our vacation goals.Easy check in and check out.Low key and relaxing environmentRoom was clean and comfortable
TV was challenge to operate at first. A staff member had to come at one point to correct a problem.
I loved the location ... I would definitely stay again. The parking was easy and that is definitely a bonus in a major city like Vancouver!!!
Loved the location. We had a nice view of the water and the boats going by. Staff were very friendly.
The walls were very thin. We could feel the vibration when our neighbors moved around and could hear people talking way too clearly.
No coffee available before restaurant opened in the morning, other than in room coffee.
Location, views, ambiance.
A bit awkward to drive to, but easy after finding it.
location at Granville Island
My flight was delayed due to weather in Atlanta and Toronto and I only checked in on July 21 instead of 20, I did call the hotel on July 20 advising the delay and was STILL charged on July 20 room as they say have to get refund back from Priceline
Very quiet. Staff so helpful. Russell went out of his way to make sure we comfortable.
We wish we could have stayed longer.
Close to a lot of amenities...market, Emily Carr University, water taxi. Soft beds. Room small but super clean. Modern bathroom with lovely rainforest shower. No tub. Free internet great!
Super location, friendly & helpful staff, great room. Very clean and welcoming. Excellent value... parking was the only issue, but the front desk solved that problem. Stayed at the Pan Pacific 2 nights later and except for the glitz, the comfort of the room and the view were comparable. ''I'll be back.'' ..... ps - there's a little bakery on the opposite side of the island. Go get your just baked morning rolls and pastries then stop in at the Market for some fruits and meats and you're set for breakfast, and lunch, too if you want.
Hotel is very nice service is great and i would say it has one of the best restaurants in vancouver with the most beautifull view of the marina and downtown vancouver and would not hesitate to stay their again in fact we are going back in june and that is were we will stay
We stayed two nights at the hotel and had a fabulous time exploring Granville Island. This is the only hotel located on the island. So much to see and do. There are great shops and galleries The Public Market rivals Pike Place. The three course dinner at ''The Cat's Meow'' was great. The staff here was very helpful and friendly and our standard room clean and comfortable. I plan to go back soon with a group of gal pals!
booked travel package, received miniscule and outdated room in rear overlooking dumpster. Very shabby, staff worse. Bar and restaurant closed for outside parties for entire stay--room service tookhours, gave up and braved 30 degree cold to walk to eat. Travelers beware!
My Daughter, Grandaughter and I (three women) stayed two nights this week. We loved the location. It was close to buses and taxis came in a flash. The hotel was quiet and the views stupendous. We would come back.
BEST Vancouver experience! The hotel is minutes to everything, without being surrounded by high rise hotels. Public Market steps from the hotel, great bars, shops and restuarants. We were upgraded to a suite with amazing water and city views. We did not want to leave. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very small and has a boutique feeling. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Can't wait to go back!!!
Hotel was clean and nice. Staff was terrific ? very friendly and helpful. The Hotel?s restaurant was right on the water with a great patio. Also, from the hotel it was easy to get to downtown Vancouver. However, I really enjoyed walking around Granville Island and seeing all the unique shops and artists.
